Pale Horse
Understanding the book of Revelation with Afolabi Dollars (9)
“So I looked, and behold, a PALE HORSE. And THE NAME of him WHO SAT ON IT was DEATH, and HADES FOLLOWED WITH HIM. And power was given to them OVER A FOURTH OF THE EARTH, to kill with SWORD, with HUNGER, with DEATH, and by the BEASTS of the earth.” (Rev.6:8)
The word “pale” used in this passage is simply like a ghastly green color of a decaying body; the PALE HORSE represents DECAY/CORRUPTION.
The name of the RIDER/HORSEMAN of this pale horse is DEATH with HADES following him; this statement paints a picture of DEATH and HADES either both ride on this same pale horse with DEATH as the main Horseman and HADES right behind him, or Death is the only horseman on the pale horse while Hades follows on foot.
In either case, both DEATH and HADES are INSEPARABLE as Hades takes in all that Death supplies; Death does the killing, while Hades does the captivity. Throughout the Bible, both death and Hades are often mentioned together because they are like Siamese twins that can’t be separated, they work and walk TOGETHER, till they are both cast into the lake of fire
TOGETHER! This “togetherness” is the reason there’s no one that experiences death that would not also experience Hades; even Jesus Himself after experiencing death also experienced Hades, but the Hades couldn’t hold Him captive, because He is THE RESURRECTION! The saints who are gone are also not left out in experiencing both death and Hades but they’d not be held captive by Hades at the appointed time, that’s why those who are dead/asleep in CHRIST would RISE first from the captivity of Hades due to the power of RESURRECTION!
Death and Hades are mentioned together 3 times in Revelation, and the first time they were mentioned in Rev.1:18 tells us that Christ holds the keys of both Death and Hades. Though the companionship of death and Hades wreaks havocs during THE TRIBULATION, but CHRIST holds the keys (ultimate power/authority) and will throw them both into the lake of fire after the Battle of ARMAGEDDON!

Many are not even aware that even the GRAVE is HELL within CONTEXT of what Christ was preaching about where the maggots don’t die, you’d only find these in a grave, no maggots can survive any form of fire! Also, the GNASHING of TEETH can only be seen in the grave where the teeth of the skeletons of the buried dead are joined together like they’re saying “cheese”?. “Where the FIRE doesn’t quench” is not talking about literal fire,… please just try and listen to HOCUS POCUS where I explained better!
Death and hades
Death and Hades, according to Rev.6:8 are BOTH given the power to use FOUR judgemental sores over a FOURTH of the earth, which means more than 1/4 of the world’s population dies during this time, because they would kill by the SWORD, by FAMINE, by PLAGUES, and by WILD BEASTS—these are like the FOUR judgments the Lord told the Prophet Ezekiel He would send in Ezek.5:5-12,14:21.
The 4 judgements by the 4th rider in the 4th seal are??:
1) SWORD (wars, killings, violence, etc).
2) FAMINE (hunger, scarcities, inflations, etc)
3) PLAGUES (diseases, infections, pandemics, etc)
4) WILD ANIMALS ( attacks, brutalities, barbarism, disasters, etc).
According to Isaiah 28:14,18, DEATH and HADES entered into a covenant/deal, which makes them inseparable, then MAN also made a deal with them, so every human being is subject to death. People die of disease, famine, war, accident, natural disaster, and if not something of that sort, then natural death.
Death and Hades, like other tribulations common to man, continues for the entire gospel age until CHRIST COMES.
As BELIEVERS, we are not to worry about death because we’ve tasted THE LIFE and are partakers of the power of THE RESURRECTION, and shall be CAUGHT UP in the power of ASCENSION to MEET the Lord in the AIR(first heaven which is still a part of the earth). So, while we are going to be CAUGHT UP to the first heaven to MEET the Lord, the wicked are going to be CUT OFF from the earth under the first heaven.

We are not afraid of Death and Hades because we’ve been granted the POWER over it.
So, DEATH to us is not a defeat, but a victory, by virtue of the keys of Hades and Death in the hands of Christ, Baba gbékúdè Himself!
