Security operatives rescue 20-year-old from abductor’s den

A 20-year-old home help, Miss Grace Yakubu has been rescued from her abductor in Mosogar Ethiope West Local Government of Delta State.

Our correspondent gathered that Miss Yakubu was abducted by one Artist Pedro on June 18.

She spent about four days with Pedro before she was eventually rescued by security agents.

Yakubu who hails from Nasarawa State was traced to Campus 2 Area of College of Education of Mosogar Town, Delta State Nigeria.

She is home help to 84-year-old Madam Florence Agoba who lives on 84 Benin Road, Sapele

Madam Agoba who was full of excitement and appreciation said but for the prompt action of her lawyer, it would have been difficult to trace her domestic staff.

She said her lawyer, Barrister Kingsley Akpederin of Akpederin and Associates Solicitors and Legal Consultants, had prevailed on the security agents in Sapele Delta State to help trace and rescue her.

The police were said to have deployed technology to trace her to the hideout where she was abducted.

There are tales of how young ladies have been reported missing in the area only for them to be found dead later with vital organs of their bodies removed.

Several other relatives including Mogan Agoba; son of Madam Agoba were present to welcome the lady home after she had been rescued from the custody of Pedro.

Arrangements are however being made to return Yakubu back to Nasarawa State where she came from.
