Pastor Laju Iren, wife of Pastor Emmanuel Iren of the Celebration Church, Lagos, is out with a new inspiring movie titled, “Onobiren”.
Pastor Emmanuel Iren who described his wife as a genius declared that “the movie is another bang from Laju Iren”.
The movie had a colourfully premire recently in Lagos. “Onobiren”, is a woman’s story’ of trials and triumphs against all odds in the present life with support from fellow women.. It is out in the cinemas in Nigeria and Ghana from March 6th, this year.
The well crafted storyline is woven around a young lady, Roli. She arrives Lagos from Warri, Delta State of Nigeria, under the shadow of tradition and expectation.
What begins as a familiar narrative quickly transforms when she chooses a different path, one driven by purpose, survival, and self-discovery; powered by fishing roots and the magic that happens when women support women.
The exciting movie has an interesting starring of both talented celebrated and upcoming actors who interpreted their roles excellently well. They are: Ruby Akubueze, Lam Bisola, Patience Ozokwo, the iconic Nollywood actor turned evangelist. Others are: Deyemi the actor, Tanpeay, Young Norbert, Desmond Bryce and Chudeity.
The executive producer and script writer, is Pastor Laju Iren, and it was director by lam Worldfamous. It was produced by Omoesiri, The Director of Photography was Daanong Dwain, while the art director was Ayomide Maclean.
The Gaffer was Henreecoal. Costume by Feyzomua.. Make up by Richglam. It was assistantly directed by Mabel Omajuwa, and produced by Modupe Jacobs. The movie sound score was done by Joshua Samvel.
The production Company, is Lajuiren films, in partnership with African Ofilter Cchub Creative Entertainment and Media Hubs. With support from Royal Iwere Foundation. The film is distributed by Film One Nigeria.
Great story line
Commenting on the movie at the premier, Pastor Iren said; “l’m so proud of my wife, Laju Iren. Onobiren is such a good movie, great story. great cinematography great lesson. All round greatness We had a beautiful time at the premier”
