Renowned US-based Kenyan preacher and motivational speaker Dr. Jacob Kinyanjui Ng’ang’a has given reasons why he thinks sinners are not demon-possessed. He wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday that only a few sinners have cases of demon possession arguing that what operates in the life of a sinner is that they are drawn by their lust. He stated also that Sin is a choice, NOT a demon. Yes, the enemy tempts us but we choose whether to succumb to his temptations or not.
KN Jacob: Sinners are not demon-possessed
Besides when Jesus rebuked Peter and when Jesus asked Satan to leave Him in the wilderness, Jesus cast out demons from people in only seven instances in 3 years. None of the people who were demon-possessed lived a normal life until their deliverance. Jesus spent over 95% of His ministry teaching, not casting out demons.
And BTW, Jesus gave EVERY BELIEVER the power to cast out demons (Mark 16:17). Kindly give me one bible verse that indicates certain people are specially anointed with the ministry of deliverance.
Jesus interacted and even argued with ‘ordinary’ sinners every day of His life. Yet He never cast out demons from His daily crowds. God’s grace protects everyone – saints and sinners alike – unless you open a doorway to the demonic world, for instance, through witchcraft or other satanic rituals.
Less than 1% Chinese are Christians. How would demon-possessed people develop great economies like China? One major reason fellow Africans will continue to lag behind is running away from personal responsibility and hiding in religion. How do you cast out demons from believers every Sunday???
Maybe you’re even employed by someone who is not a Christian. Are you receiving your salary from demons? Maybe you ride a vehicle that was designed and manufactured by a Japanese or a German who has never gone to church. Maybe your phone was manufactured by a Korean or an American who is an atheist. None of these tech-creators is demon possessed.
Maybe your dad, brother or sister are not born again. Are they demon possessed? Stop being silly. Why do demons just target your poor church? After all these deliverance prayers, are you doing better than those who have never attended a deliverance war room?
Sin is a choice, NOT a demon. Yes, the enemy tempts us but we choose whether to succumb to his temptations or not. I’m calling you back to sense and scriptures. Keep emotions aside and engage me with the Bible.
I dare you today that the Bible teaches each of us is led away by our own lusts (not demons) and when these lusts are conceived in the heart, they give birth to sin (James 1:14-15).
Last year, a demon possessed man disrupted a couples’ night service in our church. I know how demon possessed people behave. Since I began preaching in 1995, I’ve only come across the demon possessed in three instances. Believe me, the ‘ordinary’ sinner in the street is not demon-possessed.

Please it is not everybody that answer pastor is called of God. Some are professional pastor and as apostle Paul warned in Philippians 3:18-19 saying, For many walks, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame–who set their mind on earthly things.
Of a truth, the man is one of the professional pastor bringing confession because he never understands what he is teaching.
I have been fighting this battle for a few years of witchcraft and voodoo, I know the person who is doing this to me. God has keep me thru all of this,I have been to church after church that do not want me around. The bottom line by the grace of God I am still standing.
