Former dean of the Faculty of Science of Ahmadu Bello University and founder of Gospel Unlimited Professor Duro Adegboye is still being held by kidnappers.
Professor Adegboye 79 was kidnapped on Saturday, June 25 on his way to a programme in Lokoja, Kogi State
The kidnappers asked for an initial sum of N100 million and later reduced it to N80 million.
About N3 million according to sources has only been raised as of today June 27. The kidnappers were said to have rejected the sum. After much persuasion, they agreed to collect a sum of N10 million.
Efforts are being made to raise more funds while prayers are ongoing for his release.
Information reaching Church Times indicated that Prof Adegboye has not eaten since he was abducted .
