BISHOP OTUNYO STEPS IN…
The 1st day of August 2020 was a special day for Bishop (Dr) Mike Otunyo, the presiding Bishop of Alive for life international ministry, Jesse, Delta State Nigeria.
He was made the chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in his domain, Ethiope West Local government Area of Delta State.
Present at the colourful ceremony, which took place at Bishop Otunyo’s church headquarters in Jesse were the Delta State PFN Chairman Bishop (Dr) Kingsley, Enakirherhi, the inauguration officer and state adviser, Zonal/ province 4 leader, Bishop P.F.E. Egwero, All past executives and outgoing chairman of the local government Area. P.F.N, CAN Chairman of the local government Area Colleges of Bishops, Women, youths and many Christians in the Area.
In his appreciation speech, Bishop Otunyo said that he is indeed grateful to the Almighty God who has counted him and his new executives worthy of His love and care, stressing further that the transition and election were very peaceful and successful which he attributed to cooperation of all saying, “if there is love, good vision and understanding will prevail.”
Bishop Otunyo said the goal of his administration as the P.F.N Chairman shall include fostering unity and advancing the course of P.F.N in the local government area, good welfare package to all P.F.N members both Ethiope West and Zonal level, to build a secretariat for the P.F.N in the local government area, creation of more units and reach out to P.F.N members who have left the body. He said he would also ensure levies are paid as at when due.
