The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Territorial Chairman, Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh has called on pastors to refrain from practices that do not glorify God while also wondering if some pastors are really for God or against him

He made the call on Tuesday July 29 at the opening of a three-day Ministers Conference preceding the Church’s 49th LAWMNA annual convention.

Uyeh’s call was informed by the ungodly behaviours of some self acclaimed pastors in present day church.

Stance with God

He told the thousands of pastors from across the nation that gathered at the church auditorium for the conference that there is the need for them to settle the question of their stance with God before leaving the Conference “

Uyeh warned that if that is not settled, “the revival we crave for may tarry and the master may come at any time soon”,

The annual Ministers’ Conference and the church’s Convention are holding at the Convention grounds, Olorunda, Oworonsoki – Ibadan expressway, Lagos state, with the theme, ‘Who is on the Lord’s side’ taken from Exodus 32 : 26.

Pastor Uyeh told the conference “dear co- Labourers in the Lord’s vineyard, the word of the Master to us at this crucial time is a million – dollar question for individual minister across the territory for them to search their heart.

He asked; “On whose side are you? are you on the side of the light or darkness? on the side of God or gods? on the winning side or losing side or the side of anti-corruption or corruption?

He called the Ministers to answer the questions before the end of the conference cum convention.

The LAWMNA chairman pointed out that there can’t be revival if the ministers that God will use are not on the Lord’s side else, we’ll keep on recycling what we detest.

Second to the left is Pastor L. O..Oladele the incoming President of the Church

About five facilitators are speaking on the theme of the conference, which is one of the Church’s capacity building and retreat for ministers in the LAWMNA Territory.
