A priest of the Anglican Communion, The Ven Kelvin Tapere has urged members of the Christ Morning Star, Lagos Chapter to serve God diligently and in holiness.
He gave the admonition while delivering a sermon at the Investiture.cum.inauguration ceremony of new executive members, Patrons and Matrons of the Society in Lagos held at All Saints Church, Oshodi Lagos on Sunday May 11
Diligence
Tapered said, ‘For God who has called you to serve in this capacity, I urge you to serve him diligently and pray ceaselessly for the church and our leaders.
“Your society has been a shining example among societies in the Church of Nigeria, therefore you must continue to lead by example’
He urged members of the society to keep praying for the church and political leaders so that God will give them wisdom to always do the right thing
To the newly inaugurated Patrons and Matrons, Ven Tapere urged them to nurture the society and make it a leading society in the Church of Nigeria.
