The Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Pastor Paul Adefarasin has denied ever pointing a gun at a content creator as being alleged on social media..

The social media was agog on Saturday June 7 with news that the church leader pointed a gun at a content creator who approached him in traffic. A video showed Pastor Paul Adefarasin in a ash coloured vehicle with no number and a police escort close by.

As the vehicle pulled up as shown in the video Adefarasin wound down and pointed an object that looks like a pistol to the content creator who who was also in the traffic.

But Adefarasin.on Sunday June 8 during a church service in his church said he does not own a fireman and that he does not have a licence to carry one.

While insisting that he did not point firearm at anybody, he said the content creator was just about a three-quartre.metre away from him in the traffic.

Pastor Adefarasin however did not disclose what he.was holding.

He said, ‘What we have had to witness was click baiters just looking for more money. I probably was even not their target. Their target was to make more money. I was falsely accused of pointing a firearm at a content creator who came in a personal distance.

“The only thing separating me and him was probably three-quarter metre. I do not have pistol licence for firearm. I do not carry a firearm.. And I pointed no firearm at anybody. It’s our policy not to dignify hate speech, false accusation. God is bigger than that.’

While acknowledging that many people sent him videos on Saturday which he said was his resting day, he said, ‘I was shocked. I was hurt. I am.humam. but God is touched by the feelings of infirmity. And he is able to give us succour. The enemy meant it for evil. But God will turn it for good. On that note I will lay that matter to rest. Case closed.’
