by Church Times

The Lagos Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has described the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye as a symbol of strength and morality.

The fellowship made the remark in a letter sent to Adeboye congratulating him on his 80th birthday on March 2.

Both the Chairman of the fellowship, Apostle Enyinnaya Okwuonu   secretary, Apostle Akin Akindejoye signed the letter

In the letter, Adeboye who was the second national president of PFN was also described as a symbol of love. The body observed that he has shown commitment to his sons and daughters all over the world.

The fellowship expressed joy at the impact Adeboye has made in the body of Christ across the world. It added that he has taken “RCCG to an enviable height.”

The statement reads further,  “Daddy, we celebrate you as a man of honour, nobility, and wisdom.  As one of the founding fathers of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria your input in the formation of this vibrant body is noteworthy and much appreciated.”

The fellowship then prayed that Adeboye would be more fruitful in his old age.  And that his strength will not abate and eyes will not dim.
