General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi was among top ministers who took part in a special programme ahead of the inauguration of President Donald Trump in the United States of America.
Trump will be inaugurated today January 20 but the special programme took place yesterday January 19 in the US with hundreds of top pastors across the world in attendance.
Kumuyi was introduced as former mathematics professor at the event and was described as pastor of the third largest church in the world.
He was asked to pray for the US by the compere of the worship programme ahead of the Inauguration today.
The Deeper Life founder stepped on the podium and did not waste time as he beckoned on the congregation to ‘let us pray:

He then prayed saying, ‘Almighty God, we thank you and bless your name. What a great and glorious God you are. And what a gathering we have this afternoon. We thank you for the church in America.
‘You said upon this rock you will build your church not just for that generation but for all generations. And you said the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
‘Lord we have come in preparations for the inauguration of Donald Trump the president tomorrow. We are asking you, grant him wisdom and grant the church the unity, the knowledge and forthrightness to speak the truth to power.
‘And we pray as you connect the church with the leader, we pray that it will be a good unity that will help the president and the church to remain the church.
‘Revive the church and purge your church that there will be holiness and the righteousness you expect for your child and your church will have a meaningful ministry in government as well as in the nation.
‘Confirm it oh Lord and answer the prayer of your people for this nation America in Jesus name we pray:.
