A non-governmental organization, Christian Conscience has urged the federal government to take proactive steps to tackle recurring flooding cases across the country rather than the palliative measures taken each time there is a disaster.
The body made the call while reacting to the flood in Mokwa, Niger State which claimed lives and property.
