The Lagos Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has observed that the late founder of Christian Pentecostal Mission (CPM), Rev Obiora Ezekiel had no scandal throughout his years of ministry
Rev Ezekiel died recently at the of 78.
In a condolence message addressed to his widow, Rev Mercy Ezekiel signed by the PFN Chairman, Apostle Eyinnaya Okwuonu, and the Secretary Apostle Akin Akindejeyo, the body noted that Rev Ezekiel was a rare servant of God.
The PFN chapter said the news came as a shock noting however that the late cleric lived a good and righteous life
The letter reads, “The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN Lagos State stands with you at this time of mourning. We believe that Daddy lived a good and righteous life. We believe that he finished well and left uncommon legacies. Here was a man who bestrode the Pentecostal landscape like a colossus in his days yet without a scandal.
“Mummy, we salute your courage, tenacity, and steadfast commitment to the ideals established by our departed Daddy, steering the ship of CPM over the years. Indeed your commitment is legendary.”
The fellowship then prayed that the Lord “will continually uphold, strengthen and comfort you, every member of the nuclear and extended families and the CPM family.”
