Explosive music and dance grace 10th edition of May 7 World Praise Day

The 10th edition of the annual May 7 World Praise Day was marked with explosive music and dance with participants and ministers of songs exploring all kinds of gospel music.

The celebration took place on  Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Victory Centre of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos

A good number of people and top gospel music ministers graced the occasion. They include Tosax Trumpeter who spared no moment to engage the people in encapsulating praise songs through his trumpets and Brother Jehoshaphat who kept the congregation on their feet with their dancing shoes throughout the period.

The congregation comprised various people hungry to connect more with God. They were not disappointed judging by the feedback.

In attendance at the event was the Secretary to the Local Government, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Hon. Kolawole Fasusi (aka Mr. Bachel), Prince Gbolahan Matthew Ogundimu, the Oba-elect of Ogundimu Kingdom was also present to praise the King of Kings and Lord above all Lords.

The event also recorded the presence of various leaders in the church, government, business, and other spheres of life.

Deacon Banjo Omole, the Visioneer and Global Convener, expressed gratitude to God for fulfilling the vision God gave him on March 15, 2014, at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos.

He said the experience he had with God on that day was unforgettable.

Going forward

He expressed hope that the vision would expand to other countries around the world.

According to him, live concerts are expected to be held in other countries such as The United Kingdom, Singapore, Kenya, South Africa, and other countries as already being planned.

May 7 will remain a day to remember and to watch out for as the campaign gains support and participation from across the world.
