Chaplains moun Rev David Azamman, pay tribute

Members of the Nigerian Christian Civil Chaplain Corps, NCCC have described the sudden death of Reverend Ayuba David Azzaman as a painful development while also commiserating with the family and the church.

The Corps made this known in a statement issued by the Corps Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Chaplain Daniel Ocholongwa and it’s commanding officer Chaplain Daniel Joe Alimi.

Rev Azamman is a popular Kaduna based cleric who died in a car crash on his way to Kaduna from a crusade ground in Makurdi on May 24.

But the organisation described Rev. Azzaman, as a highly respected Christian leader from Northern Nigeria adding that his death has sent shockwaves throughout the Christian community.

The organisation said further that his sudden exit has left a void that will be deeply felt by countless individuals whose lives he touched”,

The corps also extend their deepest condolences to the family, friends, and the broader Christian community.

They noted that “Rev. Azzaman’s legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire us.’

They prayed that his memory will ‘motivate us to uphold the values of compassion, forgiveness, and dedication to the service of humanity that he embodied throughout his life.’

The statement reads further ‘Rev. Azzaman you were a pillar of strength and inspiration to many, renowned for unwavering commitment to your faith, your community, and the advancement of the Gospel.

“Your leadership and mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping the spiritual landscape of Northern Nigeria, fostering unity, understanding, and peace among diverse groups.

“Through your tireless efforts, contributed significantly to interfaith dialogue and cooperation, earning you respect and admiration across religious lines.’

The corps urged Christians not to grieve over his loss while assuring that he is with the saints resting until the day of the Lord..
