The International Billionaire Christian Conference (IBCC) has announced its readiness to empower young Christians who have ingenious business ideas with the needed capital to drive their dreams.
This is in line with the group’s objectives which is to help brilliant young Christians with ideas but who lack the needed capital to pursue their ideas.
The empowerment will be done at the 2024 edition of its conference with the theme: power, wealth, and technology. The meeting has been fixed for Friday, January 26th, and Saturday, January 27th, at the Redemption Camp, in Ogun State Nigeria
Convener of the IBCC, Pastor Olatayo Ajiboye says in a statement that the 2024 meeting promises to deliver an experience that goes beyond the ordinary for participants.
While noting that the meeting would be an intersection of faith, business, and technological innovation he said, “The aim is to help impact Christian youths including granting of scholarships and the launching of a dedicated funding for startups.”
He said beneficiaries of the funds will be selected through a rigorous pitch deck session with the IBCC-Startup Management Board (IBCC-SMB). The Board, Olatayo, added, comprises seasoned investors and managers, overseeing the mentorship and management of selected ventures.
In addition, he said in line with the IBCC’s commitment to education and skill development, over 300 participants would be awarded scholarships through the esteemed allied techno-craft learning company, Skilharvest at the 2024 meeting
This initiative, he stressed, seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge and expertise necessary to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of technology and entrepreneurship.
The 2024 conference according to him will also witness the launch of a dynamic Billionaire Christian Community, managed by the prestigious International Billionaire Christian College.
“This community is envisioned as a vibrant platform for weekly/monthly mentorship and teaching sessions, featuring influential business leaders from around the world as facilitators,” he said.
Ajiboye stated that the IBCC’s 2024 edition is not just an event but a catalyst for positive change, stressing that “the convergence of faith, wealth, and technology underscores the conference’s commitment to holistic empowerment.”
He said ‘attendees can expect not only unparalleled learning opportunities and financial support but also a sustained ecosystem for growth, guidance, and collaboration.’
It will be recalled that Olatayo launched the IBCC in 2023 when he brought Christian youths together for a conference designed to teach them Bible-based success principles.
The movement, according to Olatayo followed a divine encounter he had in 2010 during which God promised him a ‘city without poverty’. It was that encounter that inspired him to build a system that would train Christian youths on sound business principles and hence set them on the path to becoming financial giants.
He said at the launch: “We want to bring a system in place for an annual conference. God wants me to dwell in a city without poverty; recruit billionaires to promote the Gospel’s last phase; repair the things that are not being properly done”.
