Ogunbomehin Foundation provides solar security lights for Lagos Community

The Isaiah Ogunbomehin foundation has provided solar security lights for about seven streets in some parts of Agege, Lagos.

The solar security lights were formally presented to the community on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

The president of the foundation, Pastor Seyi Ogunbomehin said at the presentation that the gesture was a continuation of what Pastor Isaiah Ogunbomehin stood for when he was alive

Pa Ogunbomehin’s impact

Pa Ogunbomehin was the founder of Mountain of Joy and Grace Church. He also founded the CAC Babalola Memorial Camp at Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State

He made a great impact on the community where he lived. His church tarred Saranatu Street, Agege where the church is located. He gave the community a transformer and supported some of the residents especially widows and orphans on Saranatu Street on a yearly basis.

While handing over the security lights to the Obanle Aro Community Development Association, Pastor Seyi Ogunbomehin expressed great thanks to God for using the foundation to provide security lights for the community.

He said no matter how small, it is always good to impact one’s environment. Just about four months again, the foundation carried out free medical check-ups for Lagosians.

Ogunbomehin said the money for the solar light was raised during the launch of two books written by him in honour of the late Pa Ogunbomehin.

He expressed willingness to continue to carry out projects that will impact lives in the community. He said the light will go a long way to reduce nocturnal crime in the area. “It will also create a sense of safety,” he added.

The CDA Chairman Hadji I A Adebayo was effusive with praise for the foundation. He expressed great delight that the church could take up such responsibility.
