Taken Aback

“I have been in the ministry for about 46 years. I am not only a prayer warrior but also what I will call a prayer champion. I gather men and women of God lifting them up in the Spirit for the mandate of God in their lives to be fulfilled.
“I also have a prayer mountain, by the special grace of God, and we have seen lots of results. That is why I believe they have given me these awards. They count my contributions worthy.
Humble servant
While conferring the award, Bishop King Joshua of the International Societal Impacts Organisation, said that Rev. Kehinde was a humble servant of God, who had made impactful contributions in advancing the Faith, humanitarian service and transforming society.
“Over the years, we have bestowed this award on impactful individuals across the globe; in recent times we were in Sierra Leone and Liberia.”
“I am excited to confer these awards on this man of God because he deserves it. He has been working quietly in his private corner all these years and today, God has decided to distinguish him,” he said.
Also speaking, Prof. Solomon Nwachukwu, the President, Voice of Integrity (VOI), a non-profit organisation, said that Rev. Kehinde was an impactful intercessor and a partner in the work of the ministry
Nwachukwu said: “Never ask what space intercessors have in the life and growth of a country. A country with no intercessor is gone; as good as dead.
“Whatever we do is mechanical without spiritual backing and FMGM plays an important part in the fire of prayer, the grace of prayer and the advice of prayer.
“One of the best achievement of VOI is recognising grace on Christians who have been outstanding and done great things in our country.”
The VOI president said that as an organisation it had impacted the lives of Nigerians, especially men and women in leadership in the country.
He noted that the non-profit had helped in grooming leaders with integrity and assisted them into the corridors of power in the hopes that they would make a difference.
Nwachukwu said that amongst some of its mentees were distinguished senators, house of representative members, adding that he had also been in government before God called him into full time ministry.
He added that his prayer was that more Christians with integrity get into governance to change the narrative in the country.
Also, Bishop Sylvanus Michael of the Hebron House of Prayer in South Africa, said that Rev. Kehinde was a father of the faith.
Respect fathers
He urged that fathers of the faith ought to be respected, honoured and cared for, adding that many boys and girls were looking for authentic fathers, so spiritual fathers ought to make themselves available to help them..
Michaels urged Christians to make their biological and spiritual fathers proud, to follow their footsteps and take their vision to the next level.
He urged followers to always remember that leaders are responsible for their souls, so they should encourage them as they did this work, so they could do it with joy and not in sorrow. (http://NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
