From Islam to Christianity

15 reasons why I left Islam for Christianity- Ibrahim Dikko

by Church Times

Ibrahim Dikko in a Facebook post highlighted 15 reasons why he embraced Christ in response to some people who have been asking him why he left Islam. Find below the reasons

1: Islam gives no guarantee of Salvation, Sura Al-Isra Ayah 15.
2: Jesus is the word of God, therefore, he is God, The Saviour, Sura Luqman, Ayah 27
3: And I Will Make Those Who Follow You (Jesus) Superior To Those Who Disbelieve, Sura Aal-E-Imran Ayah 55.
4: Jesus Was Sinless, Muhammad Was Not, Sura Al-Jumu’ah, Ayah 2, Quran 19:19Matthew 1:10)
5: Muhammad Recommended killing Enemies While Jesus Recommended Loving Them Sura At-Tawbah, Ayah 5, Sura At-Tawbah, Ayah 4, Sura Fussilat, Ayah 34.
6: Mohammed just affirmed, but Jesus Christ confirmed his words with all kinds of miracles and resurrection of the death, John 5:30, John 11: 42 Qur’an, surah 4 (An-Nisa) ayat 157-158.
7: Converted because Mohammed is asking the Muslims to turn to Christians to get the truth (Surah 10-94).
8: I Ibrahim Dikko, Converted because despite Mohammed’s claim to be the seal of the prophets he is dead and will never return but Jesus Christ whom I hated before died and was resurrected and will come back to fight the Antichrist ( even according to Islam).
9: Converted because despite Jesus Christ being surrounded by several women, he did not seek to have sex with them, unlike Mohammed who even had sex with Zaynab the wife of his son Zaid, surah (33-37).
10: On this day, the name Jesus delivers all kinds of captivity, unlike the name of Mohammed, Isaiah 43:11, John 3-17.
11: Converted because Mohammed says all Muslims will go through hell (surah 19 v 71) while Jesus Christ gives eternal life to all those who come to him ( heaven) John 3-17.
12: I converted because Jesus never attacked someone to take something from him, while Mohammed claims war booty surah (8-1).
13: I converted because the birth of Jesus Christ changed the whole world and not a community and many more reasons, Al-Anbiya 21:107.
14: My brother my sister, only Jesus Christ saves. He is the way, truth, and life.
15: Jesus was never a Muslim, he is the savior of the world and He loves you and wants to save you.
THESE MADE ME LEAVE ISLAM FOR CHRISTIANITY AND I SAID YES TO JESUS🙏

🌙 THE TRUTH NEVER FEARS QUESTIONS

Recently, I came across a post by Evangelist Ibrahim Dikko claiming he left Islam for Christianity.
He mentioned 15 reasons for his decision.
Let’s take them one by one — with calmness, knowledge, and respect. 🕊️

1️⃣ “Islam gives no guarantee of salvation.”
💭 Islam clearly says: “Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life and reward them for the best of what they did.” (Qur’an 16:97).
Salvation in Islam is through faith and righteous deeds — not just words.

2️⃣ “Jesus is the Word of God, therefore He is God.”
📖 The Qur’an calls Jesus Kalimatullah (Word from Allah) because he was created by God’s word “Be!” (Kun Fayakun).
Even the Bible says “The word became flesh” — not “The word is God Himself.”
Every prophet came by the Word of God’s command — that doesn’t make them divine.

3️⃣ “Those who follow Jesus are superior.”
✅ Yes, Qur’an 3:55 says that — but it refers to the true followers of Jesus, who followed him in truth (worshipping one God), not those who later changed his message.

4️⃣ “Jesus was sinless, Muhammad was not.”
🌿 All prophets were protected from sin in their message.
The Qur’an honors both: “Peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is raised alive.” (Qur’an 19:15).
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Every child of Adam sins, and the best of sinners are those who repent.” — showing humility, not imperfection.

5️⃣ “Muhammad taught to kill, Jesus taught love.”
🕊️ Islam allows fighting only in defense — not aggression.
The same Bible shows Jesus saying:
“I came not to bring peace, but a sword.” (Matthew 10:34)
Context matters — both faiths teach love and justice.

6️⃣ “Muhammad had no miracles.”
🌙 The Qur’an itself is the greatest miracle — a book preserved word-for-word for 1400+ years.
He split the moon, water flowed from his fingers, and trees spoke to him — all recorded authentically.

7️⃣ “Muhammad told Muslims to ask Christians for truth.”
📜 Surah 10:94 was addressed to those in doubt before the Qur’an was revealed, not to Muslims after revelation was complete. Context clears confusion.

8️⃣ “Muhammad is dead, but Jesus will return.”
✅ Yes — and even Islam teaches that Jesus (peace be upon him) will return, not as a new messenger, but to prove the truth of Islam before the end of time.

9️⃣ “Muhammad married many wives.”
💍 His marriages were for social, political, and humanitarian reasons — to protect widows and spread peace between tribes.
Jesus (peace be upon him) lived unmarried because his mission was short. Different missions, same purpose — guiding mankind.

🔟 “Jesus’ name delivers, Muhammad’s doesn’t.”
🌙 Salvation is not in the name but in the obedience to God.
Even Jesus said: “Not everyone who says ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father.” (Matthew 7:21).
That is Islam — submission to God’s will.

In short:
Islam honors Jesus, loves him, and awaits his return — but never worships him.
We worship the One who sent him. 🕋

🤲 May Allah guide us all to truth, increase us in knowledge, and fill our hearts with light.
