By John Abiola
“Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.” — Psalm 2:8.
This is not an ordinary moment in the history of the Church. This is not a season for passive observation or casual Christianity. This is a divine hour—an urgent, weighty, prophetic moment in which God is summoning His people to rise above fear, above distraction, above shallow interpretation, and to step into spiritual understanding.
The earth is speaking loudly, but heaven is speaking louder.
Nations are shifting, systems are shaking, and uncertainties are increasing across regions that have long resisted the Gospel. But what many interpret as instability, heaven reveals as preparation.
What appears to be disorder is, in the hands of God, divine alignment. For this is the hour when God is drawing the attention of His Church to the nations—especially those that have remained closed, resistant, and unreached for generations.
This is the hour to discern—not with fear, not with speculation, but with spiritual clarity. To see not only what is happening, but why it is happening. To understand that behind the movements of governments and the tensions among nations, there is a deeper, eternal agenda unfolding—the redemption of souls.
This is the hour to pray.. Not casually, not occasionally, but intentionally, strategically, and with burden. Because the harvest that is rising will not be gathered by observation—it will be gathered through intercession. Heaven is searching for those who will stand in the gap, who will carry the weight of nations in prayer, who will cry out until doors open, until strongholds break, until light pierces darkness.
This is the hour to align. To align our hearts with God’s priorities. To move away from self-centered Christianity into kingdom-centered living. To embrace the burden of the Gospel, not just for our families or our local environments, but for the nations of the earth.
And this is the hour to prepare. Because the harvest that is coming will require more than desire—it will require readiness. It will require vessels that are consecrated, voices that are bold, lives that are surrendered, and hearts that are willing to go wherever God sends.
For the Spirit of God is drawing attention to a region long spoken of, long prayed over, yet still largely unreached—the vast expanse known as the 10/40 Window.
Within this region live over 3.2 billion people—souls created by God, yet many without access to the Gospel. Over 85 percent of the poorest of the world’s poor dwell here. More than 95 percent remain unevangelized. Millions have never heard the name of Jesus even once—not in a church, not on the streets, not through any witness.
This is not just a statistic. This is a cry. It is in this region that the major strongholds of non-Christian belief systems are deeply rooted—Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and countless indigenous and secular worldviews. It is here that resistance has been strongest, where access has been limited, where the name of Jesus has often been restricted or opposed.
But hear this clearly: what has been resistant is now being shaken.
The same regions once known for spiritual closure are now becoming grounds of spiritual hunger. The same nations that resisted the Gospel are now experiencing cracks in their foundations. Through crises, through instability, through divine encounters, God is beginning to open what has long been shut.
And this is where the Church must respond. Lift your eyes and see the nations. Iran—ancient Persia—where underground movements of faith are rising even in secrecy.
Iraq and Syria—lands of ancient Assyria—where the echoes of early Christianity are stirring again. Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait—regions where access has been limited, yet hunger is quietly increasing.
Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel—lands central to prophecy, now central to unfolding purpose. Look to North Africa—Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan—regions marked by history, now marked for visitation.
Look to the Sahel and West Africa—Nigeria, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mauritania—lands under pressure, yet pregnant with purpose. Look further to Asia—Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka—vast populations, deep traditions, yet hearts waiting.
Look to the East—China, Mongolia, North Korea, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia—nations of immense population and influence, standing at the threshold of divine encounter.
Look to Central Asia—Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan—regions often overlooked, yet deeply significant in God’s redemptive plan.
These are not distant places. These are divine assignments.
And as the fire of global shaking spreads, it is not consuming for destruction alone—it is clearing the ground for harvest.
What begins as conflict becomes a catalyst.
What begins as crisis becomes a calling. What begins as resistance becomes a release. The same God who moved in the early Church, who caused the Gospel to spread under persecution, who revealed Himself in impossible places, is moving again.
He is revealing Himself through dreams in regions where Bibles are scarce. He is speaking through visions where churches are restricted. He is stirring hearts where missionaries cannot easily go.
And yet, He is still calling His people. Calling intercessors to pray. Calling laborers to go. Calling voices to speak. Calling a generation to rise.
This is not a time for the Church to retreat. This is a time to advance—not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit of God.
So arise in discernment. Refuse to be distracted by fear.
Refuse to be consumed by surface-level interpretations.
See the deeper work of God.
Pray for the nations with urgency. Carry them in your heart.
Stand in the gap until doors open and light breaks through.
For the harvest is not coming—it is here. The fields are not waiting—they are ready.
The doors are not closed—they are opening. And the King is moving among the nations. This is the hour to discern.
This is the hour to pray. This is the hour to arise.
And as you respond, as you align, as you engage, you will not only witness what God is doing—you will become part of it.
For He will indeed give the nations as an inheritance, and the ends of the earth as His possession.
And in this generation, in this very hour, the knowledge of Jesus Christ will break through barriers, cross borders, and fill the earth with His glory.
Amen.
CONCLUDING PROPHETIC PRAYERS: THE BURDEN AND HARVEST OF THE NATIONS
Father of the nations,
the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
the One who rules over kingdoms and reigns above all the earth—
we come before You in this hour with reverence, with urgency, and with alignment to Your will.
You said, “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations,”
so today, Lord, we ask.
We ask not casually, but with burden.
We ask not for ourselves alone, but for the ends of the earth.
We ask for souls—millions, billions of souls across the nations.
Father, we lift up the nations of the 10/40 Window before You.
Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel—
Lord, let the veil be lifted.
Let every spiritual blindness be removed.
Reveal Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through dreams, visions, and undeniable encounters.
Let underground movements become unstoppable forces of revival.
Let those who seek truth find You in power and in reality.
Father, we cry out for North Africa—
Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan—
Let ancient lands experience fresh visitation.
Let the prophecy of worship across regions be fulfilled in our time.
Let the desert rejoice and bloom with the knowledge of Your glory.
Lord, we lift up West Africa—
Nigeria, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mauritania—
You see the violence, the bloodshed, the fear, the instability.
Father, arise.
Let every agenda of terror be scattered.
Let every force of darkness be broken.
Let peace that comes from You begin to flow.
But Lord, in the midst of this, raise a Church that cannot be shaken.
Raise believers who are bold, who are steadfast, who are unmovable.
Let the fire of persecution become the fire of purification.
Let the blood of the innocent cry out for revival and produce a mighty harvest.
Turn Nigeria into a greater sending force.
Raise missionaries from villages, from cities, from places of pain—
and send them into the nations.
Father, we lift up South Asia—
Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka—
Break through ancient strongholds.
Let millions encounter Jesus.
Let every barrier to the Gospel begin to crumble.
We lift up East and Southeast Asia—
China, North Korea, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and beyond—
Lord, move where access is limited.
Reveal Yourself where voices are restricted.
Let revival rise in hidden places.
We lift up Central Asia—
Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan—
Let these regions no longer be overlooked.
Let light penetrate every darkness.
Father, we declare:
Let every closed nation open.
Let every resistant heart soften.
Let every stronghold break.
Let every barrier fall.
Send laborers into the harvest.
Raise intercessors who will not grow weary.
Anoint voices that will speak with boldness and truth.
Prepare vessels that will carry Your glory into the nations.
Lord, align us with Your agenda.
Remove distractions.
Remove fear.
Remove complacency.
Ignite in us a burden that cannot be ignored.
Give us hearts that carry nations.
Give us eyes that see beyond the natural.
Give us strength to stand and to pray until Your will is done.
For we declare:
The nations belong to You.
The harvest is Yours.
The earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory.
And in this hour, let Jesus Christ be revealed—
in every nation,
in every region,
among every people group.
Let revival spread.
Let salvation increase.
Let Your Kingdom come.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
