TB Joshua’s body arrives Synagogue Church, now lying-in-state

The remains of Prophet TB Joshua have arrived at the Synagogue Church of All Nations preparatory to burial on July 9. It is currently lying in state for the public to view his remains and pay the final homage.

Already thousands of people are taking turns to view his body from a distance while it laid on the altar

Prophet Joshua passed on June 5 at age 57, barely a week to his 58th birthday.

His death took his followers all over the world and church members unaware.

Joshua, whose ministry was a conundrum to many, has since become the hub of discourse since his transition.

Tributes have continued to pour in from all over the world. Presidents of nations, captains of industries, and people from all walks of life have taken turns to share their experiences of the late prophet.

Gary Tonge, a member of the church said during a press conference announcing Joshua’s burial plan that the prophet’s divine call was met with an outpouring of millions of testimonies and tributes from 195 countries.

July 5 to July 11 have been dedicated to a series of laying to rest activities tagged ‘Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Prophet Joshua.

The event started with a private candlelight procession on July 5.

From July 6 to July 7, there was a public tribute service from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Today, he is being laid in state from 11 am to 5 pm while he would be laid to rest on July 9 after an internment service starting from 10 am.

There will be a thanksgiving service in the church on Sunday, July 11. The church has since kept faith with the burial programme.
