An old video message from Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has resurfaced online, in which he shares a testimony of how he was healed of a long-standing throat ailment by a sweet given to him by an unknown lady.
Pastor Oritsejafor is the Senior Pastor and founder of the Word of Life Bible Church based in Warri, Delta State.
In the video, which is approximately ten years old, Pastor Oritsejafor explained that it took him some time before he decided to share the testimony publicly.
He recounted that about 22 years prior to when he was giving the message, he suffered from a severe throat problem that made it impossible for him to preach for extended periods.
According to him, whenever he started ministering, and he spoke for more than 15 minutes, his throat would begin to bleed.
As the problem persisted, he decided to seek medical intervention. Doctors informed him that he would need to undergo surgery.
Sharing this detail with his listeners, he noted that there is nothing wrong with medical procedures: “Don’t let fear make you say surgery is not your portion. I was ready and was not afraid of the surgical procedure.”
He eventually traveled to the United Kingdom to consult an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist. Coincidentally, the specialist was excited to meet him, explaining that he had been listening to his messages and had been looking for an opportunity to be a blessing to him.
After an examination, the doctor told him that surgery would not be necessary and assured him the throat would heal on its own.
He prescribed a throat spray, urging Pastor Oritsetjafor to use it daily to help the wound close.
However, the former PFN President noted that the spray ointment made no difference. “In fact, my condition grew worse,” Oritsejafor said.
Later, while in Puerto Rico to preach, he received a message while sitting in the host pastor’s office. He was told that a lady had flown in from Miami specifically to see him. When she arrived, she told him she had been sent by God to give him a sweet because of his throat ailment.
Pastor Oritsejafor accepted the sweet and thanked her. He testified that shortly after he licked the sweet, the long-standing throat problem vanished instantly.
“That was the end of the throat problem,” he said. “I have been taking this sweet every day for 22 years now, and my throat has been fine. The moment I take the sweet, my throat just opens up.”
He noted that the sweet is primarily found in the US and costs about $1 per pack. “I was healed of my throat problem since that time. Unfortunately, if I saw that lady today, I might not even recognize her. God has proved Himself mighty.”
