KMF holds concert , empowers gospel artistes

The Kingdom Music Foundation (KMF), the premier umbrella body for Nigerian Gospel Music Artistes both in Nigeria and diaspora, recently held its “Artistes Empowerment Concert”, which was aimed at ensuring the success of Nigerian Gospel artistes.

The well-attended event was held at the Newbreed Leadership Centre, Surulere, Lagos.

At the event there was life transforming “financial freedom seminar”. The first of its kind seminar. It was initiated to empower KMF members with business and financial education through international trade opportunities.

Pastor Gani Alli-Shobande, the guest speaker, acquainted the members on how to legitimately start and run a lucrative export business.will afford the members a very solid financial source to fund their musical expenditure with ease

Drawing on his wealth of experiences in banking, shipping, clearing and forwarding businesses.of many years, Pastor Gani provided very many useful and practical guidelines that can economically empower Gospel Music artistes and other Nigerians who truly want to break the scourge of poverty through legitimate enterprise.

KMF President, Dr. Broda Martyns hosted the concert. It was spiced by several colorful and heavily anointed music ministrations with electrifying performances.

The finest Nigerian Gospel artistes such as multiple award winning Queen Esselyte of the “Big God” fame, Eby Opera, Victor Jacobs, Dickson Praise, Tessy Joe, Dickson Praise, Xtreme Gold, and Pat Irole.

They overwhelmingly did justice with their impressive outing.

Other notable Gospel artistes and dignitaries who grace the event, were Elder Emeka Aaron, the renowned Afrocentric Gospel artiste, who also doubles as (KMF Vice President Mobilization), Pastor Chuks Chidube aka Dis Kind GOD. Barrister Ebere Edeh, Dr. Esther King, Minister Chidi Ikeokwu, Pastor Johnny Kabash etc

KMF was founded by the legendary Rev and Rev (Mrs) Ekpenyong Bassey, popularly known as Papa and Mama Karis of the legendary Karis Band.

The band nurtured iconic Gospel musicians such as late Sammie Okposo, Nathaniel Bassey, US-based Agboola Shadare, Jonathan Lewis and Hope Isesele, Chuks Chidube among others to stardom.

KMF National President, Broda Martyns informed that the foundation is primarily set out to propagate God kingdom with Gospel music.

He said, “KMF welcomes born again Music Ministers, Promoters, Songwriter, Sound Engineers, Video Producers, Marketers, Instrumentalists, and even Choristers who are only engaged in Gospel Music and are willing to join the association for the building and advancement of the body of Christ through Gospel Music”,
