Adefarasin’s wife descends heavily on women who dress seductively to church

Apparently angered by women who dress provocatively to Church, Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin recently took to the pulpit to speak to the heart of such women.

The message was a clear move to bring sanity to the church.

Ifeanyi is the wife of Pastor Paul Adefarasin who founded House on the Rock with headquarters in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria.

Ifeanyi Adefarasin was visibly angry while delivering her homily during a recent service in the House on the Rock. She wondered loudly why some women in the church would dress seductively to the place of worship.

She said, “I don’t know why people will wake up on a Sunday morning and wear tight fitting cloth to the church. May I educate you, the house of God is a solemn place of worship. And you are expected to be decent in your appearance.”

While agreeing that some of the women might have come as they were as prostitutes she said, it is expected that they would imbibe good morals. “We expect you to change as the word of God comes to you.” she said.

Ifeanyi Adefarasin asked, “How can you wear something that makes it difficult for you to climb the staircase. Don’t know you know there are staircases in the church before coming? Now you wear such a tight fitting cloth that makes it difficult for you to climb and everybody now sees what you have underneath you. Don’t get confused, I have those kind of cloths too. But they are for my house and for my husband.”

She charged further, “there is a conduct in the house of God. If you will not wear a rag you call cloth to a corporate environment why wear it to church. You know the corporate environment will not permit it, why will you wear such to the house of God?. Why will you be pulling your skirt down? Didn’t you know it will go up before you left home?”

Ifeanyi Adefarasin who showed her pain and disdain for immodest dressing  also took a swipe at those who distract worship sessions in the name of going to the toilet.

She said, “there are people who walk up and down during church service. Every time excuse me. Every time excuse me. It is simply a distraction. If you go to the embassy will you not hold your bladder if you know they will call you any time for your interview? For your information walking up and down in the church will not get you a husband.”

Expressing hope that some of them would turn a new leaf, the Ifeanyi Adefarasin said, “There is time to change.” Paul said in the Bible, when I was a child, I act like a child but when I became a man I put away childish things. If you dress anyhow the man you think is interested in you will just fling with you and toss you up. Every man likes a wife material.”
