Bishop David and Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo

Wife of Bishop David Oyedepo,  Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo has said she is a living testimony to the fact that a couple can live together without fighting or arguing.

She made this known on her Facebook page on Saturday, November 12 while also declaring that not fighting and arguing with her husband is working for her

She wrote,  “Some people think it is impossible to live together as a couple without fighting and arguing. But I am a living testimony to the fact that it is possible. If it is working for me, it will also work for you, if you believe it.”

Earlier on the same page, she urged men to love their wives as commanded in the Bible.

She wrote,” Husbands should also love their wives sacrificially, unconditionally, and limitlessly. Don’t forget, love is not love until it is expressed. Express your love to your wife, in words, and in deed.”

She also called on husbands to take responsibility for the welfare of their homes

Her words, “The welfare of the home is committed into the hands of the man. And to be able to fulfill this responsibility, the man needs to be delivered from selfishness. He must learn to have the interest of his family members at heart.”

From Florence Abiola Akano to Faith Abiola Oyedepo

Formerly known as Florence Abiola Akano, she married Bishop David  Oyedepo in August 1982. They have four children together. Her ministry has been basically home and relationship-related.

Their first child, David Oyedepo Jnr once commended his parents for showing worthy examples during one of their wedding anniversaries.

In his tribute to them, he wrote: “Happy Anniversary to our great parents and patriarch/ matriarch in the faith to many. You are a gift to the world and your example is a pattern for many. More important than all that the world may see, is the authenticity we see and admire.

“You remain honoured in our hearts as we behold your example. Our heritage in the faith is solidified by the transparency, commitment consistency of your example to us and millions across the globe. Therefore, we stand to salute this union made in the heavens and manifested on the earth.”
