Nigerian gospel singer, Bose Adekunle has released a new album titled, “Dide Oluwa” meaning Arise Oh Lord
Adekunle in a chat with Church Times explained that DIDE OLUWA is a song asking for Mercy from God in a crucial time like this, on behalf of Nigeria and individuals.
She expressed confidence that in a matter of time Nigeria will experience a change in all areas of its life
Adekunle who has been on the gospel music scene for while said, “Every time God is about to cause a change, a sound heralds his intention. This is a song for the moment.”
God will bring a change
“People of Nineveh received mercy, Samarians saw the end of famine. In a time like this, we need the mercy of the Lord. May God arise for us individually and as a nation, and give us victory in Jesus’ name.
She however called on Nigerians not to lose heart but to continue to pray. “We should keep working, praying, and relying on God for the change ahead. I am optimistic that it will not be long, God will bring a change into our life as a nation. Things won’t continue to go wrong. There will be a new lease of life and we all shall benefit from the change that is coming.”
Adekunle stressed that believers should not stop praying. “The word of God says, we should continue praying till our joy is full. When you need something from God, pray, after you get it, still pray. Prayer is a continuous exercise, don’t stop praying” she said.
Bose Adekunle: A brief profile
Bose Adekunle, daughter of a Christ Apostolic Church pastor hails from Iwo in Osun state.
She studied Microbiology. But she has since taken to gospel music as a passion and a full-time affair. She composes songs effortlessly through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Adekunle is married to Elder Sunday Adekunle and they are blessed with twins and many children of faith.
The album which has a clip, on YouTube is a compelling visual rendition of soul-lifting lyrics.
