Doyin Okupe: God healed me of covid-19
Foremost politician and aide to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Doyin Okupe has shared testimony of how God healed him and his wife of Covid-19 on his Facebook page today May 12.
Okupe said on the page that he and his wife, Aduralere tested positive to covid19 virus on April 23 and were immediately moved to the isolation ward facilities in Sagamu.
But as God would have it, the Lord stepped him to begin the perfect work of healing in his body.
He wrote, “Glory be to God Almighty Jehovah and His Son Jesus Christ through whose blood that was shed for us at Calvary and by whose stripes we became healed and tested negative twice to the Covid-19 Virus. We were discharged from the isolation center, in the early hours of today (May 12)”
He then expressed deep appreciation to his cousin, the governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun sending him prayers very regularly, in spite of his busy schedule as chief executive of Ogun state.
Okupe thanked the Honourable commissioner of health of Ogun State, Dr Tomi Coker, who incidentally was a flower girl at his wedding in 1977.
The former presidential aide also thanked all the health workers under the leadership of Dr. Olaitan and Dr Ayeni noting, “It is incredible what dangerous and sometimes daring sacrifices they paid, including very long hours of work stretching for a week at a time, all to ensure that we their patients under their care live. My wife and I are grateful to you all.”
He thanked also “All my Spiritual fathers including the Primate of the church of the Lord His eminence, Most Reverend R. O. Oshitelu. My life-long pastor, spiritual father and mentor, Rev Joe Olaiya. Ministers of God, Pastors Kilani, Adeoti, Adegbite, Bishop Lawal, Pastor Fayomi , Prophet Israel and a host of others, who all tirelessly prayed with and for us daily round the clock.”
While praying for healing to all those who had contracted the virus and that the Lord will rid the country of the virus he thanked all his close relatives and family members for supporting him throughout the crisis.
He also asked that God will “endow our present leaders the competence of wisdom to direct the ship of our nation throughout this turbulence.”
