“What Pastor Dare Adeboye’s landlady said at his service of song in Eket”

by Church Times

The service of song for the late Pastor Dare Adeboye took place as scheduled on Sunday, May 9 at the City of David Parish, Eket with hundreds of people in attendance.

Pastor Dare Adeboye passed on May 5 in Eket Akwa-Ibom State

At the service of song, many of the attendees testified of how he impacted their lives and how he led by showing a good example.

But one of the striking testimonies was that of the landlady of the late Dare Adeboye of about four years in Eket.

The landlady foreseeing that she might not have the chance to talk had to connect with some people in Lagos to prevail on the organisers of the Eket event so she could give testimony about the late Dare Adeboye.

Looking quite sober, the lady who did not give her name said Pastor Dare Adeboye was a diamond sent by God to live in her house.

She said Pastor Dare turned her house around adding that she possibly could not have had money to make the house what it is without his support.

“He was a diamond sent by God to live in my house. He turned my house around to what I did not have the finance to do,” she said.

While praying for the repose of the soul of the late Adeboye the lady recalled that Pastor Dare who is also called PD treated her as a mother.

“He used to treat me as his mother. He was truly a man of God. He was gentle, respectful. He lived in my house for almost four years. May his gentle kind respectful soul rest in peace.”
