250 Church leaders get free Africa Study Bible, books worth N8.7million.

About 250 church leaders on Saturday, May 28 got free Africa Study Bible at the Next-Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS).

The summit was organized by Anchor International Outreach Ministry, the umbrella body of Anchor Leadership Academy (ALA), and Anchor International Care and Humanitarian Initiative.

The event took place at the West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS), Ipaja Lagos.

Participants and beneficiaries of the free Africa Study Bible include priests of the Nigeria Army Chaplaincy Protestant Services Lagos, priests from orthodox churches, Pentecostals, and the Organization of African Instituted Churches(OAIC) among others.

The ministry had trained close to 300 leaders from different denominations and organizations. Each participant was presented with a copy of the Africa Study Bible, book, and workbook worth N35,000. This is in fulfillment of the ministry’s promise to equip leaders.

The president of the ministry, Pastor Bolarinwa Omotosho said the gesture is in line with the ministry’s determination to raise leaders that will be useful in nation-building.  He said the ministry will be launching the Train-the-Trainer Leaders’ Book Sets Project(TLBSP) very soon.

Omotosho explained that the free Bible distribution was made possible with the co-funding by Anchor International Outreach Ministry and Oasis International Limited through a project called God’s Word for Africa (GWFA).

The Regional Director, West Africa, also coordinator of God’s Word for Africa (GWFA) Sola Onifade, who could not attend the event expressed gratitude for the good coordination and success of the Summit.

He said he had a rewarding time at the leadership summit, ” What a wonderful time in God’s presence. To cap it up, the presentation of the Africa Study Bible, was the height of it all. In fact, the excitement and joyful mood of receiving the Bible was inexplicable” he said.

The topics and focus of the training were well aligned to current perspectives and challenges in ministry, with concrete steps to handle them for the effective performance of ministry men and women.

“The faculty was carefully selected to give adequate experiential knowledge to help the ministers. The free Africa Study Bible given to participants was the icing on the cake of the well-packaged programme.”

Olapo who spoke on behalf of all participants thanked Oasis International for the free study Bible. He expressed the wish for more rewarding future programs by Anchor International Outreach Ministry. ” –

Omotosho commended all the speakers at the Next-Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS) and said that indeed the participants had drawn biblical leadership and administrative experience from them.

Dr. Michael Abodunrin, Chancellor of Bowen University and past convention chairman of the Nigeria Baptist Convention; Pastor F.O Olotu, National Leader and Area Superintendent at The Apostolic Church, Nigeria; Dr. Mrs. Priscillia Omotosho, trustee of Anchor International Outreach Ministry; and Dr. Bolarinwa Michael Omotosho among others.

The Next-Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS) has been scheduled to take place in Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Ogun State respectively, with high power support from Oasis International Ltd.
