Daily Trust has published a video of students that have been held by bandits in the last 47 days.
The video which was said to have been released by the bandits, shows students introducing themselves one by one, pleading and calling on the government and their parents to come and rescue them from captivity.
Kaduna State has been noted for series of kidnappings and murder lately. The last was the murder of two students of Greenfield University. They were reportedly kidnapped last Tuesday. Earlier Three of the victims were found dead on Friday.
The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Homeland Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the latest murder of the two students to reporters
He reportedly said, “On a sad note, security agencies have just reported to the Kaduna State Government the recovery of two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits today, Monday 26th April 2021
“The retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university has been notified of the development.
