How Devil is stopping many from eternal life
Heaven
“And Jesus answered and said to them: Take heed that no man deceive you. 5. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 11. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will wax cold. 13. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.”Matthew 24:4,5, 11-14.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has warned us to be mindful of satan’s master game which is called ‘deceit’. An act of making someone believe something that is not true. It is so painful that Jesus Christ said many will be deceived by satanic agents called false prophets. Today the love for God in the hearts of men is very cold because many have fallen victim of false prophets. We don’t need to go far before we see them; they are everywhere carrying out the assignment of the devil. The prayer is that, may you and I never be part of the many that will be deceived.
The devil is stopping many souls from going to heaven by making them break the covenants of God, while he brings them under his own covenants. He knows that God will never break His covenants. “My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.” Psalm 89:34.Once a man is in covenant with the devil he has no part with God again. A covenant breaker has no place in heaven.
The three spirits assigned by the devil to fulfill his evil plans:
•The spirit of Disobedience
“Now it happened, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came to the prophet who had brought him back; and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD; ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the LORD, and has not kept the commandment which the LORD your God commanded you, but you came back, ate bread, and drank water in the place of which the LORD said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your corpse shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.”1 Kings 13:20-22.
Each time you disobey God you turn your back to His kingdom. No disobedient person will ever be found in heaven. When you live your life contrary to the scriptures you become vulnerable to the devil. Every act of disobedience opens the door of your heart for the devil to take control of your life.
One major reason why some youths are dying young is because of disobedience to parents. From the Ten Commandments we have been told to honour our parents. “Children, obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right. “Honour your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” Ephesians 6:1-3. Whoever his old enough to be your parent must also be given same respect.
The act of stealing is being celebrated today; it is no longer seen as a criminal act but as game, which make the victims weep temporary and the thief have a temporary laughter. A thief is a thief there is no other way to qualify a thief. God said, the curse shall not leave the house of a thief and no thief can gain access to heaven. “Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth: ‘Every thief shall be expelled,’ according to this side of the scroll; and, ‘Every perjurer shall be expelled,’ according to that side of it.” “I will send out the curse, “says the LORD of host; “It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swear falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber stones.” Zechariah 5:3,4.
The do’s and don’ts of God are very clear. From the beginning of creation man was made to obey His Maker. The devil came to alter God’s plan for man by making them disobey His commands. The devil’s mission is to steal, to kill and to destroy the glorious future God has for man. Eternity is sure for you as long as you obey the dictates of God. The choice is yours; to obey God and make it to heaven or obey the devil and make it to hell.
•The spirit of Immorality
“Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.” 1 Cor. 10:8. Immorality has become uncontrollable today. What we can never imagine has now become a norm. Incestuous acts; fathers sleeping with daughters, sons pregnating their own mothers, homosexualism, bestialism, lesbianism, etc.
In one of my encounters with God, He told me there are many fathers nurturing children that are not biologically theirs. Over 50% of such men will never know until they leave the earth, some of such secrets are sealed with power of darkness that it will be like a mirage before the man. He told me that many of the testimonies we hear in some churches that He (Jesus Christ) is not the doer of them.
The question God will ask many mothers on that day is ‘who is the father of your child?’ All because you want to carry a child you choose to spend your eternity in hell. Some men are now keeping more than one home; some have families in more than three countries. I was told of a Pastor who has a family in Nigeria, the second family in South Africa and the third family in London. It is when he dies; the three families will meet themselves at his graveyard, when he is on his way to hell. There is no excuse you can give to make God understand your reason for living in sin. “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man…” Romans 2:1. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.
You divorce your spouse and get married to another person just to have a permit to live in another country, a permit that can’t give you a place in heaven. All because you are looking for comfort that is temporary you break your marital vows, your marriage covenant. “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.” Psalm 2:4. Have you forgotten that, “For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce…” Malachi 2:16.
Every act of fornication and adultery is a short cut to hell. It is the devil’s fastest way of making man become a citizen of hell. Sexual sin is an act of breaking God’s covenant and been inducted into the covenant of the devil. In the kingdom of darkness it is called ‘initiation by pleasure.’ The road to hell seems very sweet and pleasant. ““Stolen water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guest are in the depths of hell.” Proverbs 9:17-18. The act of immorality is an act of initiation into devil’s covenant knowingly or unknowingly. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can break satanic covenant in the life of anyone that is in it.
Immorality stains the garment of Christians; the devil has introduced all manner of drugs to enhance the performance of immorality. People have become uncontrollable in ungodly acts. The spirit of immorality is destroying destinies on a daily basis, provoking the anger of God continually.
3) The spirit of Rebellion
“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:23. Never take the silence of God as permission to do evil. Very soon the merciful God will sit on the judgement seat to judge everyone. You can’t rebel against the word of God and not see the anger of God. You change the word of God to suit your evil deeds and you take His silence as an acceptance from Him to continue in evil.
God will not change His word for anyone. “For I am the LORD, I do not change …” Malachi 3:6. “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But It shall accomplish what I please, And It shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10,11.
The things God call sacred you joke with them, the people He calls holy you make fun of them, His sanctuaries turned to business centres, there is no modesty in your dressing and your language is ungodly; all these are signs of rebellion.
The Youths of today:
The youths are the major vessel the devil is using today to achieve his evil deeds. 75% of the youths are already in one covenant or the other with the devil knowingly or unknowingly, and majority are females. The youths are selling their souls to the devil all for lucre gain and temporary pleasures. The devil is ready to give anything in exchange for the soul of man. Whoever is in charge of the soul is fully in charge of everything. This is why most of the youths are not in control of their actions; they have lost control of themselves. They act according to the instructions given to them by the devil.
Every time they repent they still find themselves continuing in the sin. They go to church seeking for help but the mark of the devil has not left them because the covenant has not been broken by the blood of Jesus Christ, so the devil is still having control over them. It is easy to enter into the devil’s covenant than coming out of it.
You will always need a stronger power to break loose from satan’s stronghold. The strongest covenant is the covenant of blood which most of the youth enter into via the spirit of immorality. To break free from this covenant, it will take the application of the blood of Jesus Christ. “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13,14.
Why is the devil interested in the youths?
•They have energy.
•They have zeal.
•They like to explore.
•They are technology driven.
•They are easily influenced.
•They are ignorant of the devil’s devices.
•They are impatient.
•They are skilful.
•They want freedom. (Freedom – to do what they like, when they like, how they like, where they like and with whom they like.) This was how satan captured America.
Devil stop men through these baits:
•Money
•Fame
•Sex
Money:
We all need money and satan is the god of money. This is why the bible warms us that, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” 1 Timothy 6:10. ‘Many sorrows’ in the sense of what people go through to be rich; some kill their loved ones, close relatives for rituals, even sacrifice part of their own body, eat all manner of concoctions, etc.
The richest man that ever lived said, “I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; all is vanity and grasping for the wind.” Ecclesiastes 1:14. After acquiring money, the next thing is fame.
Fame:
The desire to be known by many people; wanting to be recognised by everyone at everywhere. Like the world will always say, ‘If you have it flaunt it.’ This is the stage many sell their souls to the devil in exchange for fame because they want to become who God has not made them to be. From this point onward immorality becomes a life style.
Sex:
Sex was designed by God for marriage between husband and wife; outside this, sex is sin. The devil uses the temporary pleasure in sex to draw many souls to his kingdom (hell). Every act of sex in the spiritual has two functions; it could be a renewal of covenant or an initiation into a covenant. When it is between a husband and his wife, it is a renewal of their marital vows to each other. Any form of sexual act outside marriage is a satanic bait to initiate someone into the kingdom of darkness; it is called ‘initiation by pleasure’ by the devil. The purpose is to enslave the soul of man because whoever controls the soul controls the life.
