Nigerian borm Pastor of Embassy of God Church, based in Ukraine, Pastor Sunday Adelaja has alleged that the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin has pencilled his name down for elimination.
In a new video posted on his Facebook wall, Adelaja said he has been a personal non-grata with the Russian government since 2005.
He said he had been banned from the country. He added however that since the war started, there have been surreptitious moves to eliminate him.
Intelligence reports according to him indicated that he and many other people especially opinion leaders in Uktaine are currently the target of the Russian government .
He said however that he was able to escape before the bridge linking his house to the capital city was brought down on Friday. February 25.
In the video, Adelaja said he had initially planned to leave the country. But he had to change his mind because he could be apprehended while escaping.
He thanked all those who have prayed for him and his family. He said he has been able to create a safe haven for himself and those in his house including many students and church members.
Though he did not disclose his present whereabouts for security reasons, Adelaja said he and his family have been on the run for the last 48 hours.
He said he was only able to settle down to do the video a few hours ago adding howveer that he is now in a safe place.
Adelaja who spoke in subdued voice, urged his listeners to keep praying for Ukraine.
