Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche has warned his members against associating with people whose principles don’t tally with theirs
He gave the warning in a sermon sighted online by Church Times during which he also explained why he parted ways with some pastors.
Enenche said in the sermon, ‘Never manage any association if you notice your principles are different ‘
He explained that some relationships are not meant to last if they don’t align with the individuals involved
“There are people God should never allow your paths to cross, because they don’t belong in your past, present or future” .
He cited various reasons he separated from some pastors citing differing educational backgrounds and lack of moral rectitude..
“These are people with zero discipline of an official university education, the best is ‘halfly’ educated, mid-level at best while the rest were secondary school dropouts”.
He also highlighted issues relating to poor marital conduct as another reason “Where you have the wife of a pastor shouting at her husband in front of everybody “
Another reason for this separation was attributed to lack of financial discipline “These are people with lack of financial discipline, zero difference between church money and personal money. Where the wife of a pastor can go to market to buy things with the offering”.  Â
Stressing his commitment to financial integrity, he says ” Since this ministry started, I have never been in possession of the church’s cheque book. I don’t believe that church money belongs to the pastor. Any pastor eating the offerings and tithes of the church needs to repent “
He noted that when there are fundamental differences in lifestyle, mindset, focus, and principles, it is best to avoid such association.
