Trinidad & Tobago Foursquare G.O. gives notice of retirement

by Church Times

The General Overseer and President of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Osaren Emokpae has given notice of his retirement from the service of the church.

Emokpae who is also the G.O. and president of the Church in Guyana said in a statement that he would be retiring from the church by the end of 2025.

The Nigerian-born Foursquare Overseer said the retirement would allow him to focus more on missions in the US and Canada. He added however that he would still be supporting churches he planted in Africa and Europe.

He promised in the statement that he would continue the mentoring of some African and European churches too.

It is not clear who will take over from him but the statement informed that his successor would be announced at the 2024 Annual convention of the church in June.

Dr. Emokpae is the Chief Strategist and Founder of Havilah Open Door Limited also known as Lead Teacher

He was elected after the successful International Mission Conference in Trinidad in May 2023 as the first National Leader and President of the Foursquare Movement in the country when the church was formally established in Princess Town, Trinidad and Tobago.
