Reporting the benefits in Christ makes me fulfilled- Wole Olarinde

Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Christian Benefit Magazine, Dr. Wole Olarinde has said resigning his job with a secular journal to embrace Christian journalism was one of the best decisions he took in his career life.


He made the observation in a chat with Church Times just as he prepares to celebrate 25 years of running the publication.


Olarinde had worked in the Guardian Newspapers and Media Review before veering into church reporting.


While noting that the journey has not been without trials and temptations, he said, ‘My joy is that I am living out the purpose and plan of God for my life. That can’t be compared to any other thing.’

The anniversary

The 25th anniversary of the publication holds on Sunday March 30th at the Clam Event Centre, Omole, Lagos.


The publication was launched January 29, 2000 with the mandate of spreading the gospel of Christ and the benefits in the acceptance of Christ for the salvation of mankind.


It has to its credit life changing stories and hundreds of reports on outstanding Christian personalities both in the church and corporate world over the years.


Olarinde describes the 25th Anniversary of of his publication as a celebration of faith and grace while also noting that ‘the.milestone will mark a new beginning for me:’


Senior Pastor, Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) and a trustee of the publication Pastor Wole Oladiyun, will minister on the theme “Breaking Boundaries” during the anniversary celebration.


The event will also feature the presentation of the 2025 Benefits Awards for Missionary Excellence (BAME Award) to some distinguished individuals.

They include Dr. Taiwo Afolabi (CON), Executive Chairman, SIFAX Group and a host of others


Campaign Against Paedophilia Africa (CAPA) will also be presented to the public by the publication during the celebration.
