Nigeria’s problems traceable to bad homes-Cleric

by Church Times

The founder of Elects Royal Evangelism Ministry, Pastor Julius Ajayi Babatunde has said many of the problems in Nigeria can be traced to dysfunctional homes.

He made the observation in a statement announcing the 2022 women convention of the ministry.

According to him, the reason we have problems in Nigeria is that many of those who get to leadership positions in Nigeria lack home training.

He said, “It is indisputable fact that when one is properly trained at home, the person will not get to public office to steal. The fear of God that has been inculcated in the person will not allow the person to behave anyhow. But those who get to government to steal lack home training. They don’t even have regard for their family heritage.”

While declaring that the Church’s 2022 women convention is going to focus on raising godly homes, Babatunde stated that “All attentions have to be geared at raising godly homes if we want a nation that will be well-governed. The leaders of tomorrow are in many homes right now. It is the value they imbibe in those homes that will help them perform when they get to positions of leadership.”

He disclosed that Pastor Mrs. Josephine Asiwaju has been invited to minister at the two-day conference which will hold from March 26-27.

“We believe that the conference will usher a refreshing dimension to our homes. Our goal is to begin to create awareness for homes and raise godly children. The conference promises to be a great time in the presence of God. We are inviting all to attend the conference. It will hold at 11 Amore Street, off Toyin Street, Ikeja Lagos at from about 10 am on each day.”
