Looming violent revolution, how to avert it -Bakare

 

Serving Overseer of  Citadel Global  Community Church, formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has recommended a revolution of values across the country to avert an imminent violent revolution.

In his message today April 26 aired online Bakare said there is an urgent need to instill right values in people to wake them up to a life of righteousness.

He said this is the only way the nation can escape the looming danger ahead of it.

According to him there is an urgent need for Nigerians to begin to live right and do what is right noting that that crime has become a common occurrence in the country.

While calling on well meaning Nigerians to join in the campaign for a moral revolution he lamented the degenerate state of the average Nigerian.

He said there have been so much blood shed in the country which has partly been responsible for what is going on in the country.

He took time to appeal to street urchins known as area boys not to allow politicians to use them to commit crime saying ‘many of the politicians use them for these evils while their own children are shielded away in foreign countries.’

The fiery cleric recall with pain the killing of Engineer Funso Williams , a former governorship hopeful in Lagos State,  declaring that those who live by the sword will die by the sword.

He said some people were behind the death of Engr. Williams. ‘such people think they will escape the judgement of God? They won’t. The blood of the Innocent is crying to heavens for judgement. Those who acquire wealth in fraudulent ways will suffer loss. Those who acquire wealth through crime will die at their prime. That is the word of God. ‘

He went on to encourage those who are going through challenges that they should not be taken aback by what is going on.

He assured that their future is not dependent on their circumstances adding that they need to wake up from being despondent.

In the message titled, ‘i am my brother’s keeper: Bakare called for a common humanity that seeks the good of others.

He pleaded with Nigerians to embrace values that promote oneness and good living warning that those who sow evil will reap evil.
