Founder of the International Church Growth Ministries Dr. Francis Bola Akin-John who passed on October 6 will be buried on December 1, 2023.
The burial ceremony will be preceded by a wake-keep service on November 30..
A statement by the ministry on Sunday, October 29 indicated that the burial service and the wake-keep event will be held at Faith Revival Apostolic Church 203 Idimu – Egbeda Road, Faith Bus/Stop, Idimu Lagos.
Dr. Akin-John died at the age of 59 after a brief illness. He was a well-known advocate for church growth in Nigeria.
For close to 30 years Akin-John impacted the church with insightful teachings on how the Church can attain quality spiritual and physical growth.
He believed so much in the local church and had campaigned for its health.
Many who followed his ministry were taken aback by his sudden demise. His death will indeed create a vacuum in the body of Christ which only God can fill in his own time.
