As preparations towards 2027 are gaining momentum, Nigerians have been admonished to eschew politics of hatred and bitterness, rather they should take advantage of the on-going voters registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission to register and collect their PVC and be ready to cast their votes when the time comes.

The advice was contained in a release jointly signed by Dr Mrs Yetunde Akinluyi and Revd Dr Kolawole Verrals, Chairman and Secretary respectively of Christian Conscience, a non-denominational Christian group in Lagos on August 18.

The group states, “We have watched with keen interest public discourse on what should happen in 2027 general elections.

“The present government of Asiwaju Tinubu has just spent two years in office, the coalition is in earnest. started We should allow governance to run for the love of the Nation. After all it’s only God that enthrone Leaders.

The group cautioned that the coalition or desperate office-seeking politicians, cannot cause a change of government, rather genuine change can only be carried out by the voting populace.

The group then urged Nigerians to collect their PVC which is the only instrument of change and vote when the time comes.
