Embrace Jesus’ model, Idowu Iluyomade tells business owners

The erstwhile pastor of City of David of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, now founder of Family Fellowship, Pastor Idowu Iluyomade has emphasised the need for captains of industry to embrace the Jesus’ model in their daily interaction in the market place.

He gave the counsel during the Sunday March 9 service of the Family Fellowship which held at the oriental Hotel in Victoria Island ,Lagos..

Clips of the message have been continually shared on his Facebook wall since the beginning of the week. This has helped to increase his social media presence.

One of the posts reads, :To influence the marketplace for the Kingdom, you must first understand your purpose. Jesus Christ, the ultimate Kingdom influencer, engaged with stakeholders and demonstrated divine wisdom in leadership. Align yourself with His principles—study, grow, and walk in divine approval’

in another post he wrote: still.addrssing shareholders in the market place, ‘True leadership goes beyond success—it mirrors the example of Jesus Christ. His influence remains unmatched, not because He authored books, but because His words and actions continue to shape generations.

To lead with impact, study His life. Just as Jesus knew His purpose, understanding yours is key to thriving in the marketplace. Follow His principles, and your influence will transcend time.’

Another snippet from the message reads, ‘Become a marketplace apostle by equipping yourself with knowledge and excellence. The Bible instructs us to “study to show ourselves approved.” (2 Timothy 2:15
