Billionaire Alakija preaches Jesus on Lagos street, says, “the best time to be saved is now”

Billionaire Folorunso Alakija on Friday took the streets of Lagos to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ urging her listeners to come to the saving arms of Jesus.

Alakija had earlier on her Instagram page announced that she will be at Bode Thomas Street, Surulere Lagos to preach the gospel.

She is reputed to be the second richest woman in Africa. But her evangelical persuasion is unparallel for a woman of her status. She became born again in 1991.

Just a few months ago she revealed that God specifically stopped her from using jewelry; perhaps because of her obsession with anything gold.

On Friday, January 14 however, Alakija, now an apostle preached powerfully to passersby in fulfilling her promise.

She was accompanied by some women from the Rose of Sharon Ministry which she founded alongside her husband. They were all clad in T.Shirt with the inscription, Perfect Peace.

Alakija clutched the microphone with the dexterity of a street preacher. She said repeatedly, “do not relent, do not relent, come and be saved.”

She continued, “Come and be saved from all the problems of life, from all the stupor you are going through. This is a wonderful time to be saved. The Lord Jesus is calling you.

Alakija: God wants to give you rest

“Don’t go on that journey without coming here to hear the message the Lord has for you. It is time to say yes to the Lord. He is the only one that can save you.

“He is the only one that can help you. Angels of darkness are all around you trying to pull you down. You have been struggling for too long.

“God wants to give you rest. Jesus can remove your struggles, all you need to do is to say yes Lord I am ready. Jesus loves you, he wants to make your life better. He wants to improve your life.”

Another Billionaire who preaches on the street is Mr. Cosmas Maduka, CEO of Coscharis Motors
