A number of participants at the ongoing holy ghost congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on December 14, came out to testify how the Lord wrought amazing miracles in their lives just at the General Overseer of the Church , Pastor Enoch Adeboye urged participants at the event to confront their enemies
Many shared testimonies of how God blessed them with fruit of the womb after several years of marriage…The most outstanding was that of a couple that married in 2000. They had three failed IVF.
But the woman exhibited rare faith when she took a bold step joining women who had put to bed to praise God when they were called out by Pastor Adeboye at one of the holy ghost nights.
She said she got three wrappers and made those wrappers look like babies that she backed and as well carried in her hands to the altar when nursing mothers were called out for prayers.
Ironically, her husband laughed at her as soon as she returned from the praise session wondering at her faith. She boldly declared to her husband, ‘i have received mine:’
As God would have it, she had triplets by the time God answered her prayers. She brought the triplets to the altar as she shared the testimony alongside her husband to the admiration of the congregation.
The audience roared in ceaseless praise; thanking God for the amazing intervention of God in the life of the couple.
A number of people also came to testify how they were delivered from diverse sicknesses and diseases including cancer and prostrate issues.
In his message, titled, Onward Christian Soldiers Pastor Adeboye told his listeners not to run for their enemies but rather should confront them.
He said of all the armours of war mentioned in the book of Ephesian, there is no armour for the back.
This according to him indicates Christians are not expected to look back but rather should continually move forward because the back is not protected.
He said, ‘light is not suppose to run for darkness. Rather darkness should run for light. A Christian should confront all negative circumstances and declare victory over them.’
Adeboye further urged the congregation to keep moving forward ‘If you come against a wall like what happened in Joshua 6v20, all you need to do to do is pull it down by shouting hallelujah.’
He prayed that every wall that the enemy has erected against his listeners would collapse in Jesus name adding, ‘If a believer comes against a mountain such believer is suppose to command the mountain to move and the mountain would move according to Jesus’ instruction.’
