Couple and their twins
The Lagos University Teaching Hospital has successfully delivered a 68 year-old woman of twins (a boy and a girl) The hospital made this known via its twitter handle @Luthofficial in a statement signed by Prof. W.L. Adeyemo.
The hospital informed that the woman was delivered following an IVF conception.
She was delivered through an elective caesarean section at 37 weeks of gestation on Tuesday April 14. 2020.
The hospital did not mention the name of the woman, but it indicated it was her first pregnancy that produced the twins.
