Despite insurgents, Adeboye, other church leaders plan one-day crusade in Borno

by Church Times

Pastor Enoch Adeboye along with many other church leaders will hold a one-day crusade on February 25 in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The Borno crusade is tagged Light Up Borno.

It is perhaps the first in a long while since the insurgents held sway in that part of the country

A flier posted on the Facebook wall of Leke, son of Pastor Adeboye indicated that several ministers from other denominations would minister alongside Pastor Adeboye at the crusade.

The venue of the crusade is RCCG Redeemers House Compound opposite Ramat Polytechnic.

Mass choirs from Deeper Life Bible Church and Living Faith Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel are expected to minister at the crusade

The consortium of pastors for the crusade is an indication of the bond of unity among churches. It is expected to mark a new beginning of collaboration for kingdom purpose

The Borno crusade will hold exactly one week to Adeboye’s 80th birthday.

Adeboye had believed God for 8 million souls as his 80th birthday gift.

Two Apps were unveiled for that purpose in December 2021 by a group known as Reach for Christ Initiative. The Apps are Ireach App and Philip Chatbot. The two applications help soul winners to track the souls they win and also help new converts begin their journey in Christ.

The Borno Crusade is evidently another platform to win souls
