A Prophetic and Strategic Prayer for National Repentance, Revival, and _Spiritual Awakening._
“Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.”

One Man Who Prayed When a Nation Was Drifting:
In September 1857, America was passing through a difficult period.
Many people were occupied with business, wealth, and daily survival. Spiritual interest had declined, and few expected that God was about to do something extraordinary.
An ordinary Christian layman named Jeremiah Lanphier believed that the answer was not found in politics or public debate but in prayer. He invited anyone who wished to seek God to gather for one hour at midday in New York City.
On the first day, only a handful of people came.
He was not discouraged.
The following week, more people attended. Soon the meetings became daily. Prayer gatherings spread from one city to another and from one state to another. Before long, thousands of believers were praying across America.
When the financial panic of 1857 struck the nation, many who had once trusted in wealth began to seek God. Churches filled with people crying out for mercy. Countless lives were converted to Christ, and the movement became known as the Prayer Revival of 1857–1858, one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in American history.
This remarkable story reminds us that God often begins national revival through the persistent prayers of ordinary believers.
One praying man became an instrument in God’s hands to awaken multitudes.
More than 165 years have passed since that great awakening. Today, America again faces deep moral and spiritual challenges. Yet the God who answered prayer in 1857 has not changed.
He is still calling His people to repentance, humility, and persistent intercession.
Before there is lasting renewal in the nation, there must first be repentance in the Church, earnest prayer among God’s people, and a fresh work of the Holy Spirit.
It is with this conviction that we now pray for America’s Redemption—that the Lord would forgive, restore, revive, and awaken the nation once again.

Satanic strongholds built by the principality and demons across the 50 States of the United States of America that we are repenting, confessing, and asking God for mercy, forgiveness and for His promised Revival: “AMERICA SHALL RISE AGAIN”
Today, we identify with the sins of our nation and we repent before the Lord. Daniel 9:5 says “We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.”
I. MORAL AND LIFE STRONGHOLDS
- ABORTION- Shedding of innocent blood. “There are six things the LORD hates… hands that shed innocent blood” Proverbs 6:16-17
- SEXUAL IMMORALITY – “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.” Hebrews 13:4
- BROKEN MARRIAGES AND FATHERLESS HOMES – “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD, “does violence to the one he should protect.” Malachi 2:16
- DRUG ADDICTION AND ALCOHOLISM – “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me… to proclaim freedom for the captives” Isaiah 61:1
- HUMAN TRAFFICKING – “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” Proverbs 24:11
II. VIOLENCE AND INJUSTICE STRONGHOLDS

- RESISTANCE TO WORLD MISSIONS – “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.'” Acts 13:2
For all these and more, we repent. We confess. We ask for mercy.
LET US PRAY:
Our eternal Father, the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the Holy One of Israel, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, we come before Your throne of grace with reverence, humility, thanksgiving, and confidence through the precious blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
.
Blessed be Your holy name forever. You alone are God. Before the mountains were brought forth, before the nations were formed, before the foundations of the earth were laid, You are God. From everlasting to everlasting, You remain faithful. Your purposes cannot fail, Your promises cannot be broken, and Your kingdom shall never end.
We thank You because You are the God of mercy, compassion, righteousness, justice, truth, and unfailing love. Your mercy endures forever. Great is Your faithfulness. Though generations change, Your covenant remains sure.
Our Father, we thank You because You have never abandoned America to herself.
Throughout her history, You have repeatedly visited her with seasons of spiritual awakening. You raised men and women of prayer, holiness, evangelism, and missionary vision. You poured out Your Spirit during the Great Awakenings. You used America to send countless missionaries, Bibles, Christian literature, humanitarian aid, and the Gospel to many nations of the world.
Lord, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You. Whatever blessings America has enjoyed have come by Your mercy and not by human strength or wisdom.
We also thank You, Father, because You are still speaking to Your people today. You have not withdrawn Your invitation to repent. You still call sinners to Yourself. You still seek those who will stand in the gap. You still desire to pour out Your Spirit upon all flesh. You still delight in showing mercy to those who humble themselves before You.
Father, I thank You because the scripture taught us in the that genuine revival is never produced by human effort. It is born in prayer. It is sustained by the Holy Spirit. It exalts Jesus Christ alone. It produces repentance, holiness, love for Your Word, compassion for lost souls, and obedience to the Great Commission.
Today, therefore, I do not come before You as one who is righteous. I come as a sinner saved by grace. I come identifying myself with the Church. I come identifying myself with the nation for which I pray. Like Daniel, Ezra, and Nehemiah, I confess that we have sinned.
We have departed from Your ways. We have not loved You with all our hearts, nor have we loved our neighbours as ourselves.
Before I pray for America, search my own heart.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23–24).
Cleanse me from every hidden sin.
Forgive every careless word.
Forgive every act of unbelief.
Forgive every moment of pride.
Forgive every failure to obey Your voice promptly.
Wash me afresh through the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Fill me anew with Your Holy Spirit.
Grant me a broken and contrite heart that trembles at Your Word.
Remove every selfish ambition from my prayers. Let my desire be Your glory alone. Let Christ be exalted. Let Your kingdom come. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Father, make me a faithful watchman upon the wall. Help me neither to become weary nor discouraged. Strengthen me to continue standing before You in prayer until You accomplish every purpose You have ordained according to Your perfect will.
As I begin this season of intercession for America, I choose to trust Your promises rather than visible circumstances. Though spiritual darkness appears great, Your light is greater. Though sin abounds, Your grace abounds much more. Though the enemy seeks to destroy, Jesus Christ has already triumphed through His death and resurrection.
Therefore, I come before You with confidence, believing that You are able to forgive, restore, revive, transform, and glorify Your name among the nations.
To You alone be all honour, all praise, all dominion, all thanksgiving, and all glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amen.
My heavenly Father, we humbly come before Your throne of grace and mercy to seek Your face in lamentation. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
We acknowledge our sins and the sins of our nation. Daniel 9:5 is our confession: “We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.”
O Lord God of our fathers, great and awesome, who keeps covenant and mercy, we have sinned. Daniel 9:4
Today we identify with the sins of America and we repent.
THE LAMENTATION:
Today, our hearts ache with great pain over the desolation of our nation America.
We look to the left and we see confusion. We look to the right and we see violence. Deuteronomy 28:23 warns “The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron.”
The blood of the innocent cries from the ground. Genesis 4:10 “The LORD said, ‘What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.'”
The land is mourning. Hosea 4:3 “Because of this the land dries up, and all who live in it waste away”
The prophet Isaiah cried: Isaiah 59:14-15 “So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found.”
But our God is a God of mercy. Lamentations 3:22-23 “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Therefore let us arise and weep. Joel 2:17 “Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar.”
CONFESSION AND WARFARE:
Father, forgive us for shedding innocent blood. Ezekiel 7:23 “For the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of violence.”
Let the blood of Jesus speak better things for America. Hebrews 12:24 “to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”
Cleanse us. Psalm 51:7 “Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”
God, the enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy families. John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life”
Restore what the locust has eaten. Joel 2:25 “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten”
Be our shield and fortress. Psalm 91:1-2 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress'”
Let Your peace guard us. Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds”
In Christ there is one new man. Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Tear down every dividing wall. Ephesians 2:14-15 “For he himself is our peace… having abolished in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations”
We renounce darkness. Isaiah 47:9
Raise true shepherds. Jeremiah 3:15 “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.”
We are neither hot nor cold. Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot… So, because you are lukewarm—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
Stir us to first works. Revelation 2:5 “Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.”
Woe to unjust laws. Isaiah 10:1 “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees”
By justice a king gives stability. Proverbs 29:4 “By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down.”
Demolish arguments against God. 2 Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God”
Let truth prevail. John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Finally, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right… think about such things”
A father to the fatherless. Psalm 68:5 “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”
Male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 “So God created mankind in his own image… male and female he created them.”
Supply all needs. Philippians 4:19_”And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”_
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18_”The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”_
Make us one. John 17:21 “that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.”
My house shall be called house of prayer. Matthew 21:13 “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.'”
In Jesus name, we engage in warfare. Ephesians 6:12_”For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world”_
We demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “The weapons we fight with… have divine power to demolish strongholds.”
We bind the strongman. Mark 3:27 “In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.”
No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17 “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.”
The gates of hell shall not prevail. Matthew 16:18 “and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
PRAYER FOR REVIVAL:
Will you not revive us again. Psalm 85:6 “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?”
I will pour out my Spirit. Joel 2:28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy”
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 2:21
If my people humble themselves and pray. 2 Chronicles 7:14_”then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”_
The earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD. Habakkuk 2:14_”For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.”_
THE DECREE:
Lord, here we are. Send us. Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!'”
We agree together. Matthew 18:19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.”
We stand in the gap. Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land”
Let us not grow weary. Galatians 6:9_”Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”_
Father, today we welcome Jesus Christ to be Lord of our land.
We dedicate America to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Let today mark the birth of a NEW AMERICA.
Our King, fulfill Psalm 22:27-28 “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the LORD and he rules over the nations.”
We believe 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Holy Spirit.
