When nations and kingdom collide: The rising of God’s global harvest in the midst of fire

By John Abiola

“When Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” — Isaiah 26:9

“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” — Matthew 24:14

There are moments in history that are not merely events but divine signals—moments when heaven interrupts the affairs of men, when God writes His purposes across the pages of nations, when what looks like confusion is actually divine alignment.

We are standing in such a moment. The earth is groaning, systems are shaking, powers are colliding, and yet above it all, God is moving with precision.

What the prophets saw in fragments is now converging in fullness. What Isaiah declared, what Jeremiah wept over, what Daniel envisioned, what Ezekiel described, what Zechariah foresaw, and what the early Church stepped into in the book of Acts—these are no longer distant realities. They are stepping into manifestation in our time.

And in this unfolding drama, God uses instruments—nations, powers, systems—not because they are perfect, but because He is sovereign. Throughout Scripture, God has always used nations as instruments of His purposes.

He used Babylon, He used Persia, He used Rome, not because they were righteous, but because He is the Lord over all. In the same way, in this present hour, powers like the United States and Israel are part of a larger prophetic framework—not as ultimate saviors, but as instruments within a divine orchestration.

Israel stands uniquely in prophecy as a covenant nation, a prophetic sign, a spiritual center of divine dealings in the earth. What happens around Israel is never isolated—it echoes into the purposes of God for the nations. The United States, with its global influence—military, political, and economic—also plays a role as a restraining and shaping force in world events.

Yet we must understand this clearly: no nation is the Kingdom of God. No government is the Messiah. God uses instruments, but He alone remains the Sovereign King.
At this point, many are asking questions and drawing conclusions about global powers and their intentions.

Some say these movements are only about resources, influence, and control. While it is true that nations pursue economic and strategic interests, we must not reduce everything happening in our time to politics and resources alone.

If we look only at the natural, we will miss the spiritual.
Yes, nations may look at oil, gold, and minerals—but God is looking at souls. While governments plan strategies, Heaven is executing a greater agenda. Throughout history, God has used nations—imperfect and even unaware—to fulfill His purposes.

He used Babylon, Persia, and Rome, not because they were righteous, but because He is sovereign.
So even if there are economic interests, that does not cancel God’s prophetic plan. In fact, God can use global movements, tensions, and even conflicts to open doors that have been closed for generations.

What we are seeing today is bigger than resources. It is about a divine awakening. It is about doors opening in regions that were once shut to the Gospel. It is about a harvest of souls.

Even now, as tensions rise involving global powers and Iran—ancient Persia—we are not just witnessing a political conflict. We are witnessing a prophetic alignment. The shaking of Iran is not only about military confrontation; it is about the breaking open of a land that has been historically resistant to the Gospel. It is about the cracking of spiritual strongholds that have stood for generations. It is about the weakening of systems so that the light of Christ can penetrate where darkness once prevailed.

And hear this clearly: it will not stop in Iran. The fire that begins in one region spreads according to divine purpose. The shaking that starts in the Middle East will extend, ripple, and manifest across other regions—especially across West Africa, and most intensely in Nigeria.

Nigeria stands today at a critical prophetic intersection. It is a nation chosen for influence, a nation carrying spiritual weight, a nation with one of the largest and most vibrant Christian populations on earth. Yet it is also a land groaning under intense pressure—violence, bloodshed, kidnappings, corruption, displacement, and deep insecurity.

Reports show the severity of the crisis. Thousands have been killed, with some estimates indicating over 7,000 Christian deaths in parts of 2025 alone, alongside thousands of kidnappings . Armed groups such as Boko Haram, Fulani Armed militia,ISWAP, and other militant factions continue to attack communities, abduct civilians, and destabilize entire regions . In some areas, villages are raided, churches destroyed, and families displaced overnight. In other cases, worshippers are attacked even during sacred gatherings

The pain is real. The bloodshed is real. The fear is real.
But even here—especially here—God is not absent.
Because Nigeria is not just a battlefield. Nigeria is an altar.
The enemy sees Nigeria as a strategic ground to weaken faith, to scatter believers, to silence the voice of the Church.

But God sees Nigeria as a launching ground—a furnace where faith is being refined, a place where endurance is producing power, a land where the fire of persecution is not destroying the Church but purifying it.

Throughout history, the places where it is hardest to be a Christian often become the places where Christianity burns the brightest. The blood of the martyrs has never silenced the Church; it has always multiplied it. What the enemy intends to suppress, God turns into expansion.

Even now, in the midst of violence and instability, something deeper is happening. A remnant is rising. Faith is being strengthened. Prayer is intensifying. The Church is being purified from superficiality and being anchored in true devotion. And out of this furnace will come a force—a generation of believers forged in fire, carrying authority, resilience, and unshakable faith.

And from Nigeria, from West Africa, from places of pain and pressure, God will raise laborers. Missionaries will emerge not from comfort, but from crisis. Voices will rise not from ease, but from endurance. And they will carry the Gospel back into regions that are opening—the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.

Do you see the pattern? What begins as conflict becomes a catalyst. What begins as shaking becomes a gateway. What begins as suffering becomes a seed. The same fire that is shaking Iran will open Iran. The same instability affecting the Middle East will unlock ancient doors. The same pressure in Nigeria will produce messengers for the nations.

This is the divine exchange: ashes for beauty, mourning for joy, shaking for awakening. The prophecy declares that regions once divided and hostile will one day be united in worship. This is not political unity. This is spiritual transformation. This is the power of God breaking barriers that centuries of conflict could not break.

And at the center of it all is not a system, not a movement, not an institution—but a Person. Jesus Christ will be revealed. Not as a distant figure, not as a misunderstood voice, but as the living Savior. He will reveal Himself in dreams to those who have never read a Bible. He will appear in visions to those who have never entered a church. He will make Himself known in ways that bypass barriers and penetrate hearts directly.

The fire that is shaking nations will become the fire that ignites revival. The crisis that is causing fear will become the catalyst for faith. The collapse of human confidence will make room for divine revelation. What looks like the end of stability will become the beginning of awakening.
This is the hour to discern, not with fear, but with spiritual understanding.

This is the hour to pray, to align, to prepare. Because the harvest that is coming will require laborers, intercessors, voices, and vessels ready to carry the message of Christ into places that are opening in unprecedented ways.

For the kingdoms of this world are being shaken, but there is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Nations may rise and fall, alliances may form and dissolve, but the purposes of God will stand. His plan is moving forward with precision, with power, and with unstoppable momentum.

And in the midst of it all, one truth will stand above every headline, every conflict, every fear: Jesus Christ will be revealed, the Gospel will reach the nations, and the greatest harvest of souls will rise from the midst of the shaking.

For when nations tremble, Heaven moves.
When kingdoms collide, the King is revealed.
And when the earth shakes, the harvest rises.
Amen.

PROPHETIC CONCLUDING PRAYERS: THE HARVEST IN THE MIDST OF FIRE

Father of all nations,
the God who rules in the affairs of men,
we come before You in this prophetic hour, not in fear, but in understanding, not in confusion, but in alignment with Your will.

Lord, You said when Your judgments are in the earth, the people will learn righteousness—so we ask, let righteousness arise from this shaking. Let every conflict, every war, every tension become a doorway for truth, for repentance, for the revelation of Jesus Christ.
I

n the name of Jesus, we lift up Iran before You.
Ancient Persia, long resistant, long closed—Father, let the gates open.

Let every spiritual stronghold be broken.
Let every veil be torn.

Reveal Yourself to millions through dreams, visions, and divine encounters. Let underground churches explode with growth. Let those who have never heard Your name encounter You in undeniable ways. Lord, let the fire of conflict become the fire of conviction. Let fear turn into hunger for truth.
Let oppression give way to spiritual awakening. We lift up Israel before You. Your covenant land, Your prophetic sign—
Let there be not only physical preservation but spiritual awakening.

Open blind eyes to the fullness of the Messiah.
Let revelation flood the land. Let there be a turning of hearts to Jesus, not by force, but by divine encounter. We lift up the United States before You. A nation of influence, a global instrument—

Father, purify her motives, align her actions, and let her be used according to Your sovereign purpose. Where there is pride, bring humility. Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Let no power operate outside Your divine limits.
Let Your will override human agenda.

Father, we lift up Iraq, Syria, and the lands of ancient Assyria.
You declared they will be the work of Your hands—so let it be.
Let revival break out in unexpected places. Let former strongholds become centers of worship. Let the sound of prayer rise where there was once silence. Lord, we cry out for North Africa— Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and beyond—

Let Isaiah’s prophecy come alive in our generation. Let a highway of worship be established. Let unity in Christ replace generations of division. Let Your glory sweep across the region like a mighty wind.

And now, Father, we lift up Nigeria and West Africa.
Lord, You see the bloodshed, the violence, the kidnappings, the fear, the oppression. You see the tears of Your people.
You hear the cries from villages, from churches, from families under attack.

Father, arise. Let every agenda of darkness be scattered.
Let every plan of terror be frustrated. Let every force that seeks to silence the Church be overthrown. But Lord, in the midst of this, raise a remnant. Raise a people of fire.
Raise believers who cannot be shaken, who cannot be silenced, who cannot be broken.

Let the Church in Nigeria arise in power, in purity, in boldness.
Let prayer altars burn day and night. Let revival break out in the North, in the South, in the East, and in the West.
Let the same places marked by violence become places marked by visitation.

Father, turn Nigeria into a sending nation in a greater dimension. Raise missionaries from the midst of adversity.
Send them into the Middle East, into North Africa, into the nations.

Let those who have suffered carry the message of hope.
Let those refined by fire carry the fire of revival.
Lord, we declare that the blood of the innocent will not be wasted.

Let it speak—not for vengeance—but for awakening.
Let it cry out for revival.
Let it produce a harvest.

Father, we align with Your prophetic agenda.
Let every shaking produce salvation.
Let every crisis produce conversion.
Let every war open spiritual doors that have been shut for generations.
Let the Gospel run swiftly.
Let the name of Jesus be lifted high in every nation involved.
Let millions come to the knowledge of the truth.
And Lord, prepare us.
Make us vessels.
Make us watchmen.
Make us intercessors.
Make us laborers ready for the harvest.
Give us discernment in this hour.
Give us boldness without fear.
Give us compassion without compromise.
Give us endurance to stand in the midst of shaking.
For we declare:
The kingdoms of this world are shaking, but Your Kingdom stands.
The nations are in turmoil, but Your purposes are advancing.
Darkness is rising, but Your light will shine brighter.
And in the end, Lord, let one name be revealed above all:
Jesus Christ—Savior of nations, Redeemer of souls, King of kings.
Let the harvest come.
Let revival spread.
Let Your glory fill the earth.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
