RCCG pastor launches ‘Obalende: A nation in motion’ Jan 9

A book titled, Obalende: A nation in motion’ written by Pastor Wale Adeduro, a provincial pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God has been slated for launch on Thursday January 9.

A former Minister of State Finance, Mr Remi Babalola, will chair the occasion which will hold at the Freedom Park, Lagos.

Also expected at the book launch is the immediate past Managing Director/CEO of Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Barrister Chiedu Ugbo and other top influential Nigerians.

The book is a.much awaited fiction on the dynamics of the Nigerian state and the lot of the girl child in a third world nation. It is an invaluable collection expected to excite the arts community.

The author

Dr Wale Adeduro also known as Pastor WAO was a banker and erstwhile Acting General Manager of the Musical Society of Nigeria.

He was a columnist in The Guardian Newspapers, Thisday Newspapers, Saturday Tribune and Naija Times.

An international award winning culture communicator and advocate, Mr..Jahman Anikulapo describes the book as “a brilliant piece of storytelling in simple elegant prose”

He said the novel promises to be an invaluable addition to Nigerian literature.
