This was said in a citation to celebrate his first five years in office as the president of the conference. The event took place recently at the First Baptist Church, Amukoko, Ajegunle-Apapa.
Akerele according to the consensus reached by the conference has demonstrated effective leadership through proactive initiatives aimed at uplifting the conference.

This has led to the establishment of more churches in the Lagos Central Baptist Conference.
The church asserted further that Akerele prioritized development and training of all key leaders and staff within the conference .
