The founder of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi has arrived in Dubai for a ministers’ conference organised by the Global Crusade with Kumuyi.
He made this known in a Facebook post on May 9. The post shows his picture and his wife at a lounge
While announcing his arrival, he pointed the attention of his readers to his picture which showed him clutching a cell phone and typing away on it
He wrote, ‘ To the glory of God I have just arrived in Dubai with my beloved wife and my team for the GCK ministers conference. Pray that God will be glorified in the land. And as you can see I am still using technology at my age. There is no end to learning Let’s embrace technology. ‘
Pastor Kumuyi will be 83 on June 6. He founded Deeper Life Bible Church in 1973 at the University of Lagos where he was a Math lecturer.
The church which started with a handful of people has become a phenomenon across the globe with millions of members.
For the past two years, Kumuyi has been going around Nigeria and beyond preaching the gospel.
His age notwithstanding, he has continued to move with the energy with which he started the ministry 51 years ago.
