Itua Ighodalo addresses #endSARS protesters, says, it’s just the beginning

Pastor of Trinity House, Itua Ighodalo was among those who addressed thousands of protesters at the Lekki Tollgate,, Lagos in the early hours of today October 17.

Ighodalo who was visibly agitated told the cheering crowd that the protest is only the beginning.

He said, “ËndSARS, bad leadership will end, poverty will end, frustration will end, armed robbery will end, the killing of people will end, Boko Haram will end. It is only the beginning”

In the address which was broadcast by the BBC News Pidgin, monitored by Church Times, Ighodalo told the boisterous crowd that Nigeria is the greatest country in the world urging the youths never to give up their agitation.

“I am privileged to be a Nigerian. I am proud to be a Nigerian. Nigeria will get to where it is going. You guys are powerful. No retreat no surrender.”

He urged the people to ensure they all have permanent voter cards saying the time had come “to vote honest people, forthright people and people that love Nigeria, people that will do great things to make Nigeria better again. You must know who to vote for, you must make sure your vote counts.”
